Comfy Special Edition - 2005 Honda CR-V
By KAREN LOCK - January 6 - 1:33 amThis is my second CRV and I love it. The special edition has leather heated seats that are comfy yet durable. This upgraded edition offers a different driving experience due to the luxurious interior. there seems to be ample room for anything and all features are well thought out. The overall appearance, inside and out, aesthetically makes this edition extremely appealing.

VERY VERY NICE TRUCK - 2005 Honda CR-V
By jc101 - December 29 - 6:03 pmThis truck is not was i expected. I assumed the 160hp engine would be slow and not enough for my lead foot. But i was wrong this car is fast enough. I think maybee the gas tank could be bigger, less frequent pit stops. But ALL in ALL CAR Is great and no regrets so far Yes i know the shifter is a bit strange but you get used to it.

CRV Experience - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Jeff - December 21 - 9:40 pmThis car has been everything that we expected. It is reasonably quick, expecially in 3rd gear and is almost as quick as my Civic Si. It is great on trips with our two children and has a lot of back seat room.

Why would anyone need more? - 2005 Honda CR-V
By farsider - December 21 - 3:13 pmIve driven a number of cars in the past, but this CR-V SE is one of the top. Good mileage, great ride, very comfortable and easy to get around in. Dont believe the info about "too much engine noise" - its surprisingly quiet and has some features you used to find only on BMW or Mercedes. I will never go back to $50k autos.

Love My CR-V - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Winfred Smith - December 18 - 8:03 amIve been driving big cars for somewhile and made the switch because offuture gas prices. The CR-V is really fun to drive and Im 63". There is a solid feel to this car that I have not seen for a long time. There is plenty of power and the handling is very nice. I got 28.5 mpg on a trip last week. The room in this SUV is amazing. My CR-V was built in Japan which explains the high quality of this car. I may buy another one for my wife. Remember $3.00 gas by mid summer.

My 2005 CR-V EX AWD - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Jim - November 23 - 4:26 amAfter test-driving the Tucson, Rav4 and Escape, the CR-Vs interior has better quality, the exterior fit and finish is also superior. Cargo area would be improved if the rear seats folded into the floor; this is a major flaw with the CR-V. Another major flaw is the rear swing door, it should be replaced with an overhead lift door. The CR-V is fun to drive but needs better tires than the OEM Bridgestones. They are noisy and hard riding. Honda still needs to put more thought into some of the interior details. Indicator lights need to be added on the drivers side window controls along with lights for some of the storage bins. Overall, the CR-V is a nice compact

45000 miles later - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Eroc69 - November 20 - 8:36 pmBought my CR-V in Dec.of 04, over 45000 miles on it. Biggest complaint is the pulling to the right. Have had it in numerous times and they always say "Its in alignment, even tire wear" OK fine, I can live with it cause I put on Michelin Hydro-edge tires and they find the road groove-crown. I cant get more than 20MPG no matter how hard I try. Noisy ride but reliable. I feel pretty safe, feel safe with wife and kids in it. I just had the tranny oil changed, it was black, should be reddish. Had the rear diff. cleaned- serviced. Trans is smoother I recommend it but its no speedy Cross over Vehicle, more of a reliable all weather ride. Needed tires too at 20K

Dissappointed - 2005 Honda CR-V
By jecchile1 - November 8 - 10:51 amMy first AND LAST Honda product... I have never had a car that requires so much maintenance (Im 63 years old and have had many)... Rear Differential needs oil change every 15K to 20K. It starts and runs, it is fairly confy but but expensive to keep... Now have another noise when at low speed - like a Diesel noise - mechanics have not been able to identify it - perhaps the alternator bearing they said... Anyway, thinking about trading it in, Im tired of so much maintenance and problems.

OK, Very Pleasantly Surprised... - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Pleasantly Surprised - October 23 - 10:00 amI purchased this vehicle a little over a week ago. I have been very pleased with the overall performance for a small SUV. I shopped around and test drove similar SUVs in the 20K - 30K price range before I decided on the CR- V SE. This vehicle, for the money, has got my vote. All the "bells and whistles" you need in a small (midsize?) SUV. There is plenty of interior room to fit 4 adults very comfortably. If you are in the market for a small SUV, give the CR-V a try.

Hondas Rule! - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Boomer - October 19 - 3:06 pmI traded in my 2000 S40 Volvo because we needed a larger fuel efficient vehicle. I researched Honda, Ford, Toyota, and Volvo. Honda came up the winner for economy and quality. I laugh when people tell me nice truck because it drives, rides, and feels like a car. We love it I wish that I would have bought a CR-V in 2000 when we purchased the Volvo. The four cylinder engine feels like a V-6, very peppy and fun to drive. I know it is not considered a luxury SUV however I consider it my luxury SUV. The heated seats, steering wheel controls, moon roof, and leather seats make it a wonderful vehicle to commute in. Very well done Honda continue the great work!
