Overview & Reviews
A performance R/T model is onboard for 2000. Intrepids get five new colors, new seat fabric in Base models, and added horsepower and torque to ES models powered by the 2.7-liter V6. AutoStick is available with that engine, and ES buyers can order an in-dash CD changer. Tether-ready child-seat anchors have been added behind the rear seat, and cars sold in California meet LEV standards.
- Huge interior, gigantic trunk, available 3.2-liter V6 engine on the ES model, good looks.
- Cheap interior materials, lots of engine and road noise, invisible corners make parking a chore.

Nothing but trouble - 2000 Dodge Intrepid
By hatethiscar - December 16 - 10:00 amThis car has been one huge disapointment. Chrysler has ignored my complaints about costly major repairs than began a few miles after the warranty expired. I replaced the rack and pinion system right after the warranty was up. It has mysterious front end clunks that nobody can explain. Ive replaced tensioners in the drive chain. The electronic door lock on the passenger side is squealing loudly. Ive already replaced the rear lock actuator. The seals around all the doors droop and fall down often. I also get a lot of water under my feet that soaks the mats but dont know where its coming from. My seat frames are now rusting.

By bryane - September 11 - 12:23 amI have driven this company car for almost two years. I often drive 3-4 hours a day. It is a pleasure to drive and has been perfect since day one. Mileage just turned over 62K.

Intrepid - 2000 Dodge Intrepid
By Rosa Andromeda - February 6 - 12:06 amExcellent condition. Remote start/keyless, quiet engine, spacy interior w/beautiful black cloths, entry/trunk lid. RUns beautifully. White gauge cluster, center console/storage. Had for less than one year. No problems whatsoever.
