Overview & Reviews
For the 2006 Toyota Avalon, the availability of stability control has been expanded to include the XL and Touring trim levels. Keyless startup is now standard, rather than optional, on the Limited.
- Carefully constructed cabin worthy of the Lexus name, powerful and fuel-efficient V6 engine, serene ride quality, huge rear seat, numerous upscale amenities.
- Refined nature leaves little room for personality, rear seats do not fold.

Great Limited - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By Mike - November 5 - 4:56 pmGreat car so far. Would like 8 way power seat on passenger side. License plate is attached to plastic bumper, not metal and the hole is easily torn. The radio is not equal to the Bose system. Otherwise great car for the money.

AVALON " LIMITED " JUST A GREAT CAR - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By Bill - October 28 - 4:50 amMy wife has a 2006 Lexus GS300 and i have a 2006 Toyota Limited we have more room in my limited both in the rear and trunk then the Lexus. We use my Limited more then her Lexus and we payed a lot more for that lexus. For what i payed for my limited to me the car has a lot more to offer its a lot of fun to drive and the fuel ecomony is great. Im getting 24 mpg around town and 34 to 35 mpg on the open road. As far as we are concerned we love our TOYOTA LIMITED. If any one is thinking about getting one please do so you wont be sorry. Keep up the good work TOYOTA.

Better than Mercedes - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By Former Lexus Owner - October 12 - 12:13 amI have been driving a Mercedes for several years but this year, after test driving every big car on the market, I switched to the Avalon. This car is bigger, better, more luxurious, and more fun to drive than the Mercedes S class. And it is $30,000 less expensive! It is by far the best car I have ever owned. If you like the feel of a big car then you have to test drive an Avalon before you buy anything else. One of my friends who drives a Lexus said "its nice but its just a Toyota". But after he drove a few miles in my Avalon he sold his Lexus and bought one too.

Power and comfort - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By lee - October 8 - 12:16 pmBest car I have ever owned after 10 vehicles. I have yet to find fault with this car. It is powerful, whisper quiet, short turning radius, conrners well at speed, and good mileage. It is what I thought it would be a bargain luxury car that competes with bmw, mbz, lexus but you do have to put up with a lack of a label prestige. So if you dont mind having a stealth car this one may be for you. Drive it fast and see what I mean.

Best Car Yet - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By carl - September 23 - 7:23 pmI have owned is Avalon now for 2+ months and it has been a excellent car. I have had no service problems and the dealer and Tyota has been excellent in their folow up. The touring package makes this car fun to drive and I feel like its sports car with an excellent ride. The pick up is great and handeling and cournering is very good. I am very pleased and will give this car a high rating.

So Far So good - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By richiero - September 19 - 6:10 amAfter having the Mazda 626 (2000) the Avalon Limited is quite a jump. The jump has been good I find the interior to be roomy and comfortable. The car is big. While it isnt a sports car, it is nimble. Noise is very low The rear seating room is immense. Control location for driver is convenient.

Saved my sons life! - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By Nancy Harris - September 10 - 4:23 amMy son was in a horrific auto accident! There were a total of 3 cars, all of the people in the other cars died and the AVALON SAVED HIS LIFE WITH ALL OF THE SAFETY FEATURES, ETC. The State Troopers told us that the Toyota Avalon saved his life! We will forever more drive Toyota Avalons as they take safety first! My sons car had the most damage; there wasnt a place on that car that did not have major damage! It was totaled, but, my son lived!

The smooth Toyota - 2006 Toyota Avalon
By Mike Torchio - August 31 - 3:40 amAn absolute pleasure to drive. This car is quiet, smooth, comfortable, powerful, handles well, and is loaded with more features than the Audi A6 I previously owned. It was also 20K cheaper than the Audi and has better features. I would be hard pressed to buy another Audi (had two of them) after owning this car.
