Overview & Reviews
Entering its second generation, the 2000 Avalon is roomier, more powerful and more technically advanced. The Kentucky-built Avalon features new styling inside and out, enhanced safety features, increased engine performance, and more comfort and convenience than its predecessor.
- Lexus-like quality, smooth V6 engine, huge rear seat.
- High price tag, new styling might not go far enough to avoid blandness.

Great Car - 2000 Toyota Avalon
By Kai - April 4 - 7:13 pmIve only had the car for 2 days and Im very satisfied with it. The leather seats are outstanding and the ride is just comfortable. Ive had a 1997 camry for a year and it does not ride nearly as well. The camry has lots of body roll and the Avalon does not (It has a firmer suspension).

Perfect for young driver - 2000 Toyota Avalon
By JJ - January 9 - 8:46 amI just turned 20 and Ive had the car for about 2 years. I have torn the hell out of the car and drove it like a bat out of hell. It always started up no matter what. Ive had two minor wrecks in the car. And had to drive it with several problems. But it just wont die. There is always plenty of room. My stepdad who is 6ft 3inches use to drive it all the time.

Great Car - 2000 Toyota Avalon
By sfuller - December 7 - 2:00 amThis is the best car we have owned. We recently had twins, plus a 2 1/2 year old, and all of the carseats fit comfortably in the back. The truck holds a double stroller with plenty of room to spare. The engine has great acceleration and is very comfortable. One notable problem, the engine had a defect and blew out after 3 months, but the dealership repaired it, gave us a loaner, and extended our warranty.

Avalon Review - 2000 Toyota Avalon
By John and Kim - September 27 - 10:00 amA very fun vehicle to drive. The only downside is that the exterior tends to get dinged up a bit as there is no trim to protect it. Overall, we are thrilled with this vehicle!
