  • Great Car for Long term Purchase - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

I bought this car off lease when it had 18k it now has 150k with no issues. I keep saying to myself Ill buy a new car when my current car breaks, but it still works perfectly. Sure itt not as smooth as it was when I first got it, but at 150k this is the best vehicle purchase Ive ever made. I recently bought 90k warranty tires because I know that it will last another 100k without any issues. I basically did my oil changes, regular maintenance, break replacement, and tire replacements. Two years ago my a/c went out and I had to replace a rear door lock sensor, but other than that I have not had any mechanical issues at all. If you want a reliable car for long term purchase, get a CRV!

  • Great First Car! - 2003 Honda CR-V

My mom bought this car used when it was 7 years old and we used it for me to learn how to drive and to have. It was a very reliable car and I loved to have it. It came in handy when all my friends and I wanted to go to the ocean for a weekend and wed pack my CR-V and fit comfortably. I got a decent trade-in and got a Honda Civic so I had something better on fuel that I would have after college.

  • A/C On Elm Street - 2003 Honda CR-V

Yes, another A/C nightmare story! I am on my 6th, yes SIXTH, A/C since I bought this otherwise nifty car new in 2003. Not happy here, however, the A/C guy is thrilled.

  • Very cramped Noisy but great cargo space - 2003 Honda CR-V

if youre the primary driver and youre over 5 7, dont buy unless you want back pain and/or heel pain. I am 5 10" and find that my seat even if all the way back my knees are off the seat which gives me foot pain. My wife is 5 2" and my father in law is 5 6" and both are thin. If we add the car seat, its hard for them to sit. The middle seat-belt is a joke. Very, very, very noisy interior. Especially if youre driving on 101 South LOL. Forget talking on cell phones inside this SUV or even having a decent conversation along with light music.

  • High maintenance after 75000 miles - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

Very noisy - hard to hear radio on most roads in the Northwest. Very high maintenance after 75000 miles. Examples: Drivers side door lock malfunction. 2. Left passenger door lock actuator malfunction.3. Cruise control computer system malfunction. 4. Air bag indicator malfunction. 4. Timing belt side mount replacement. Items 1-4 cost $1200 in repairs! Honda dealer had a very hard time diagnosing cruise control problem. i.e., many false fixes.

  • My Honda CRV - 2003 Honda CR-V

Overall, I really love my CRV. We took it out West & it did great, except for some difficulty with the transmission in the mountains. It is fun to drive.

  • New Mom Loves it! - 2003 Honda CR-V

I went shopping for a vehicle while I was still pregnant. I knew I didnt want a minivan but needed lots of room. THis SUV has been wonderful!!! We load up the back and still have plenty of room on the backseat - our backseat doubles as a changing table, place to nurse the little one, or passengers!

  • Great car for my son - 2003 Honda CR-V

Great vehicle. Given to my son to drive. I like the reliability and safety for him

  • CrV-Heaven - 2003 Honda CR-V

The Honda CrV is very nimble and quiet. The ride quality is very Honda Civic like (i have owned several Civics). Does not have the room like other bigger SUVs but is very comfortable for 4 adults. It never stubbles when i put the pedal down. Honda has built a very sensible SUV.

  • Overpriced but Extremely Reliable - 2003 Honda CR-V

Comfortable car to drive but sluggish going uphill & not fast to accelerate.
