This car is fun to drive, stylish ( similar to Mercede ML Class ). Roomy Interior provide more legroom. But the fuel consumption in acity is quite inefficient. But the overall performance is good, it is an eye catching mini SUV I think. You shouldnt lt new models out within 5 years.

If in the market for an SUV, regardless of price, consider this model. The 5 Speed is definetely worth the wait if you must order it. Loads of fun and very smooth and maybe the 3rd or 4th fastest SUV, regardless of price. Actual MPG is a bit off, never having gotten close to advertized figures but once .. still the best in class, though. Wind noise more prevelant than anticipated, particularly at highway speeds. Get the driving lights . Tires could be Michelins and a size wider. They are supposed to be at 26psi, not what the dealer delivers it at 32psi, which bodes for a harsher ride. Still, the best vehicle of its kind.

I love this vehicle! quite smooth to drive, enough power, decent brakes, stable at highway speeds. Interior is well designed and seats are comfortable. Easy to get in/out of. Visibility could be better. Very popular, so you see yourself coming and going. Not perfect, but for the money, its a 10.

  • Should have bought a Highlander - 2003 Honda CR-V

Having second thoughts. Brakes clunk, seat rocks, wheel jerks to right on acceleration. Not what I expected from Honda. Thinking I should have bought a Highlander or Rav.

  • more utility than sport - 2003 Honda CR-V

Its okay. Front seat leg room is not that great. Seats are not very supportive, and interior materials seem cheap and unattractive - especially in the saddle.

  • Uneven Tire Wear - 2003 Honda CR-V

I was very pleased with my 2003 CRV until I noticed that the road noise was increasing dramatically. The tires have been rotated every 7,500 miles and the alignment was checked twice - one minor adjustment on the rear passenger side. At 25,000 miles, the outer two treads were below spec on all four tires, but the middle and inside treads were fine. I keep 32 psi all around. Im disappointed - new tires after only 25,000 miles. I wont tolerate that and got rid of it... Too bad, I really liked my CRV. :-(

This is a good, reliable car-SUV. There is plenty of room for groceries or luggage. I find I get about 25 mpg in the city which is awesome.

The CR-V is roomy and I like the style. I was worried the 4 cylinder engine would be sluggish, in fact I am very happy with the performance. It easily acceerates into traffic. This SUV is not perfect, but I am a huge Honda fan because of the reliability that Hondas have.

  • great in snow - 2003 Honda CR-V

Our CRV was great in the snow. I put BF Goodrich Winter Slaloms on it and was able to plow through snow that was as high as the "H" in the grill.

  • its ok..... - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

the crv is extremely dependable and worthy of the honda logo. it performs well in the snow and gets ok fuel economy. its just very sluggish. really needs a 6 clyiner option, and the suspension is extremely stiff compared to the highlander, rav4, and tribute. over all its a honda and will last. But comfort, cabin noise, and ride stiffness was over looked
