This Year's Model Updates:

The BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon have been completely redesigned for 2006. Major highlights include new features, more powerful engines, a slightly larger interior and the incorporation of BMW's latest exterior styling elements. The 3 Series coupe and convertible are unchanged this year but will eventually move over to the new platform being used for the sedan and wagon; expect to see a new hardtop convertible for the 2008 model year.

Pros:
  • Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Still costs more than most of its competitors, lacking in interior storage space.

  • I love this car - 2006 BMW 3-Series

This is my first "new" BMW. I am familiar with BMW quality and this car has met all of my expectations. I recommend this car to all real drivers.

  • Best car I ever owned - 2006 BMW 3-Series

I have had this car for almost a year. I traded in my 2001 325i model for this when the re-design first came out (I owned a 318is prior to the 325i). This is the best 3-series model I have owned and I have yet to get bored with it. I still feel the same thrill as I had the day I drove it home. The aux input for my iPod was a very nice feature and the engine purrs quietly. I love the acceleration on this car. Car does run only on premium gas so beware of that. The only thing I wasnt impressed with was the audio system. Premium sound system was a better option, but I choose instead to buy a better system aftermarket.

I traded my original 5 speed 525i for this 330xi after prowling the lot for months. Same color combination, 4 years newer. Wow. I guess there comes a time when you have to admit that time marches forward and the new features are awesome...bluetooth, Logic 7 and AWD are light years ahead of the 02 525i, plus this is faster and tighter on curves.

This is the second BMW I have owned, the first one is a 1986 325es still driven with 295,000 miles on it. Unlike my 1986 this car does all of the driving for me and initially it was a shift to go from a pure rear wheel drive to an AWD car. I take the corners sooner rather than later in the new car. The only problem I had with the car was the bluetooth pairing and it was fixed by the dealer. I have been the owner of this car for two years. Even though there are a few things I would change about the car, this car is amazing and I would buy another in a heartbeat...only after 300,000 miles of course.

  • Perfect Sedan - 2006 BMW 3-Series

I drive my car very hard, and it has continued to amaze me. For the money, there isnt a car on the market that measures up. Perfect small, luxury sedan.

  • Fun Fun FUN!!! - 2006 BMW 3-Series

This is the fourth BMW Ive had and Im not disappointed at all. The performance is awesome, the MPG is amazing and its very comfortable. What sold me on the car was the bluetooth. Its so easy to use and so handy that its become my favorite feature of the car. I HIGHLY recommend this option. The only negative I can say about the car is the take off. For a smoother take off, it feels like it starts in 2nd gear making it feel a little "sluggish" when Im at a full stop. None of my other BMWs had it and Im not I sure I like it. Other than that BUY IT!! You will love it.

Very Nice Riding Car. Has Great Power When Needed. My first BMW, gives you a great high when driving it.

  • Even "base" sedan is awesome! - 2006 BMW 3-Series

Used 2006 325i 4-dr, only options are A/T and power seats. Even in "base" configuration, this is truly the nicest sport sedan around. Ive had Saab, Audi, VW, Mazda - all good. But no one seems to have nailed that elusive ride- vs-handling balance like BMW. Not to mention "fun-to-drive", along with timeless styling inside and out. Sewing-machine-like drivetrain, thanks to silky I-6 engine. I was not considering an automatic until I drove it and felt how smoothly it shifted without sacrificing power. Even standard "leatherette" (German for vinyl) interior looks great. Ive heard its quite durable and outlasts leather. A solid near-luxury sedan value if you can find a clean, lo-mileage sample.

Very exciting to drive. Lots of road feel. Very tight cornering feel. Brakes are super. Engine is very smooth. Mileage is less than advertised, but OK.

  • Forget the rest buy the best! - 2006 BMW 3-Series

Unbelievable comfort and handling! I looked into others. But with the quality of make, driver handling, engine power, as well as the strongest engine for the money in its class, is a great deal compared to the others. I did not go wrong when I selected this car, and you wont either.
