Toyot at its best - 2003 Toyota Corolla

Great Car! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By BATgirl - February 25 - 2:00 amI love my new Corolla LE. The car drives wonderfully – smooth, solid and reasonably quiet. The styling is great – looks like a baby Lexus. It is so roomy inside. The mileage is incredible; I have calculated that I have gotten over 35 mpg in mixed driving. I had been car shopping for well over a year, test driven all sorts of cars, seriously considered “treating myself” to a much higher priced car. I did my homework and I am so happy that I went with the Corolla LE – a GREAT car for the money (or more). I would much rather have my money in the bank – and the Corolla will help keep it there!

Not getting the gas mileage expected!!! - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By dwarrior - February 25 - 2:00 amI love my new car (its my first new one, last was a 89 929). However, I am concerned that after 700 miles, I am still not getting anywhere near the gas mileage stated. A full tank barely takes me 225 miles!!! Is anyone else experiencing this? I use Shell gas 87 octane. I dont drive that much, maybe three or four trips a day totalling 20- 30 miles. Could it be too much stop and start? At the dealership, the service rep told me it can take up to 900 miles to really break in the gas mileage. Please help!

AWESOME CAR - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By antelii - February 20 - 10:00 amToyota really knows how to make cars. I´ve owned ford, chevrolet, dodge, mitsubishi and chrysler, and nothing better than a toyota. Te design is nice because is sporty and has a lot of elegance. I´m really happy with this car and i recomend it for anyone who is looking for build quality, reliability and confidence.

A Lot For The Money - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Richard B - February 20 - 10:00 amWe love this car. Zero defects upon delivery. Great gas mileage. Its very quiet and rides extremely well for a vehicle in this class. Has a very roomy interior, even for larger people. Smooth 5 spd gearbox makes it easy and fun to drive. Not bothered as much by wind as some others commented. Also, absolutely no sign of rotten egg smell. Overall, a winner!

I DO WISH IT HAD MORE HORSEPOWER..I HAVE THE S MODEL AND I LOVE IT..WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR THE WORLD, WELL MAYBE A NEW 350Z..

CE with cruise - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By steve05401 - February 1 - 10:00 amhate to disagree with 14SC14, but if he/she bought their 2003 Corolla CE in the US, cruise is NOT standard. it is available as an OPTION, but it is NOT standard. check for yourself on Toyotas own website.

By tferguso - January 2 - 10:00 amToyota has come up with a winner. STYLE, LOTS OF ROOM, Great gas milage and quiet. The lines of the car have moved closer to Camry then ever before. The whole family loves to drive this car. My wife is 54 and Im over 6 feet and it is comfortable for both. The trunk space and rear seats have been stretched to the limits and provide ample space for any family.
