Great car for the price! - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By Mark G - December 24 - 7:57 pmIm very impressed with the latest generation of Toyota Corollas. The interior styling and quality has vastly improved over previous generations. The handling is very good for an economy 4Dr Sedan and the back seat legroom is fantastic. Im 61" tall and I can sit comfortably in the back seats without my knees hitting the front seats. Head room is not an issue. Visibility is great, the blind spots are very minor in this car. The S Plus package I purchased comes standard with Bluetooth, voice controls, USB, Back Up camera, paddle shifters, stiffer struts, allow wheels, front fog lights, electronic mirrors + defrost, and a 50/50 cloth/vinyl interior. For the price I think you get an excellent vehicle. This Corolla is about the same size as the Camry, its not even close to the traditional Corollas of the past. Ride comfort is superb, the seats are very comfortable for long trips. Road noise is fairly low and acceptable, but its not of course as good as a Lexus or Cadillac. The touch screen radio is intuitive and easy to use/navigate. The climate controls are also basic and easy to use, this is a plus in my opinion. Sure you dont get lots of the latest bells and whistles with this car, such as active parking assist or lane change notifications, but thats not something I care about or want. For the price of this vehicle Im very impressed, its a great value. What you get with this car, in my opinion, are the essentials. You get your hands free, you get your keyless entry, you get your HD radio, you get excellent headlights (night visibility), fuel economy, safety, handling, cargo space (big trunk for a small car), and passenger space. On top of it all, you get Toyota Reliability. Parts/maintenance are very low/affordable. Choosing this vehicle was a simple choice for me. The only other vehicle I would consider at this price point is the Mazda 3. They are very close to each other in terms of price and options. But I felt that overall the Toyota offered a better value both in the short and long term.

Great car for the price - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By Randy ODell - August 23 - 6:40 pmI bought the car from Carmax. It had 19911 miles on it. I took it on a trip after purchase. Its a great car. Smooth ride, comfortable seats. My only complaint is road noise. It does have some road noise. Not as quiet as I first thought. The mpg is not 38 mpg as stated. More like 33 or lower. Still a good car for the money.

impressions after 2k miles - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By Don Kleyer - April 12 - 6:50 pmPros: Good fuel economy though very speed, acceleration and wind sensitive. Features and reliability reputation are great for the price. Seat height adjustment very useful for short/tall driver transition. Cons: LED headlights on low beam are cut off by "eyelids" which can limit how far they illuminate ahead in hilly terrain. Steering requires frequent tweaks with stiff crosswind. Entune system setup/use with iPhone not as obvious as it should be.

LOVE my Corolla! - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By Leslie - April 2 - 10:23 amFirst of all, for those people complaining about the Corolla not accelerating fast enough...it comes with a handy "sports mode" that will turn off the eco feature (if you have it) and that will allow you to accelerate much faster. This car gets AMAZING gas mileage and is a great car in general. Very fancy for a Corolla and quite a bit larger than they used to make them. The seats are very comfy. Huge trunk. Stylish and sporty on the inside and out. Love the touch screen display. Great speakers too. I really have no complaints. Great buy for the money.

Its an okay car - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By Redline056 - February 27 - 1:36 pmIts an amazing car in the summertime. It handles good in the rain. The car sucks at accelorating in the first gear but when you get past first gear the car comes alive. But the winter time sucks in it it becomes very slick the car mostely slides around and the car gets stuck in small amount snow (had a lot of problems with that) because the car is so low to the ground. But once again good for summer. The sports button in it doesnt seem to make alot of difference in the cars acceloration. The only thing i have noticed is that it holds the high rpms in the auto part of the tranny. The interior of the car is very user friendly with a good sounding radio. The trunk space is amazing in the car i also love how bright the lights are on the car but tend to get flashed alot because people keep thinking i have brights on. Its a good car to buy good fuel mileage but not a winter car. For winter i would suggest to buy something different.
