I guess I am one of the few who think the interior fake wood trim is gaudy, and the high visibility dash is annoying. I would have considered the CE, but it is not available with cruise control - in spite of the Toyota brochure. Is Toyota is playing marketing games with pricing ? The LE does not come standard with Cruise, yet every LE in my area has Cruise from the factory. Possible gimmick to make the price appear to be less than $ 16,000 ? My 1993 Corolla LE came standard with more options that the 2003 !

  • S class A nice surprise! - 2003 Toyota Corolla

I bought the 2003 Corolla S thinking that it looked like the 2002. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise (lucky me). It actually looks like a sports car but its not in that class. I got a good looking car (wasnt expecting much of that from the corolla) with great reliability at a low cost!

I researched for about 2 weeks and I decided on the Corolla CE. After getting to the dealership and finding out that you cannot get a CE with power windows I realized this car wasnt for me. So I started looking at the S. What a major up grade. But one major problem. Getting a manual in the Southeastern region without ordering is almost impossible. My dealer and I searched for one in my region. Which covers 4 states and it met with negative results. We spent 4 days looking for it mind you. I ended up getting a Auto with a crap load of features.

I would have to say the carolla has come a long way! I was soo impressed by the look and feel of this car that I was sold almost immediately. The power of this 4-cylinder especially impressed me. Coming from a V6 on a 1994 car, I was a little worried that a 4-cylinder would drag. Not so, this little car packs a punch. I would recommend the sporty beauty to anyone looking for a reliable car with a glamorous look.

As a single parent and college student, I just wanted a car that would take me from A to B safely and worry free. I got more than I bargained for. The dash and front panel are made with quality material. This car can really get around. I do 99% city driving in Manhattan and sometimes the Bronx – I put this car to the test against serious automobiles. It handles very well in traffic that demands maneuverability. It could afford better shock absorption, faster pick-up and a quieter engine. But considering the price, the car drives like a dream. Plus, My daughter loves the space in the back.

the car feels like a tank...thats how solid it is. only problem with this car is the driver comfort (which is a big concern). i am average height (510"), and there needs to be more leg room under the dash. the seat is all the way back, and i still feel like i need about 5 more inches. that creates another problem, because when you push the seat back all the way, you are now too far away from the steering wheel. this car needs a telescoping wheel, but considering how far the tilt wheel travels (about 2 inches... why bother), the telescope would probably move the same distance, and you would be charged another $200 for the option.

Ive had it for just over 6 months and driving 100 miles a day can put some wear on a person. This car makes the time fly. Whether on a side road or the highway, this car has the necessary pickup to get you going when you need it, and a smooth ride when just crusin along. Interior is superb. Recently rear-ended, I rented a 2002 Honda Accord for two weeks, and boy did that solidify my decision. The interior quality of the Corolla is TOP NOTCH. Soft seats worthy of a 10 hour drive, seating position that accomodates a 6+ driver and gauges and controls all in the right places. Roomy inside for all passengers, and a huge truck top it all off.

I bought this 2003 Carolla used from a dealership in upstate NY. It had 72,000 miles on it and since I have been driving it ive put on 3,000 more miles and it sounds like new. I bought it as a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle also which makes me feel more comfortable.
