Fun Snow Car - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By COBeav - May 5 - 4:30 pmIve put about 1500mi on my Subie. Love it! I was very surprised by its pickup, even with the auto. Its handling and power are much better than the other cars in its class, especially for the basic model. Getting up around 34 mpg hwy, 25 city (stop-n-go), not bad, especially just breaking it in. Had a few snows, and it just zips along. Love being able to just go, even starting uphill. The handling is fun in the snow, it seems as though I can feel the different wheels gripping.

Love it! - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By Jim - April 2 - 3:06 amExcellent value. Love AWD, styling, comfort, and performance. Drove an Audi A4 Quattro 1.8 AWD for 6 years (140,000) miles and was looking for an AWD replacement at a reasonable price - the Impreza was it. Have had it for 1.5 weeks and 500+ miles and love it. Averaging better than 27 mpg combined city/highway - better than my Audi.

Practical Yet Fun - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By Jake F. - January 13 - 1:53 amI am overall very pleased with this car. The build quality seems excellent for this class. The doors give a quality thunk when you close them and all switches/levers feel durable. The performance of the 2.5 is adequate and when combined with the 5spd the result is a zippy little car. The suspension soaks up the bumps very nicely (better than my 04 Impala I traded for it) and I live near some very rough roads so that is appreciated. I am a large person (275 lbs) and I find the interior comfortable and roomy enough. Even though it is summer, I have already used the AWD to climb up a rain soaked muddy drive and it performed flawlessly. Im almost looking forward to the ND winter.

Timely Purchase - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By Andrey - September 30 - 4:13 pmWe live in Northern Virginia, which doesnt get a lot of snow, however, it still does get some, and we do travel up north to PA and upstate NY, so we felt we needed to replace one of our rear- wheel drive vehicles with something either FWD or AWD. We just lived through the blizzard of 2009, and the car performed wonderfully while the snow was still falling.. zipping by those so called "SUVs" which dont necessarily have AWD (do your research!). We put on around 100miles just driving around snow, and also took a skiing trip, which we wouldnt have attempted without this car. The heated seats, heated wiper areas were pretty nice to have in snow too. Car is fun to drive, even with 170HP.

Disappointing Sti - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By flying finn - March 25 - 10:13 pmThe car was great to 4700 mile marker. Ringland failure downed car and it has been @ dealership for 3 weeks awaiting repair. Have read of widespread issues w/ engine which manufacturer is denying. I dont have much faith in the car when I get it back after this experience. WRC caliber STIs are a thing of the past when they are offered in factory guise.

2010 impreza Outback sport - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By aherrmann17 - February 18 - 3:03 amThis car burns oil. The scheduled maintenance for my region is every 7500 miles for an oil change. The outback sport however decided to develop rod knocking due to lack of oil in the engine. CA state law does not allow a car to burn 4.5 quarts of synthetic oil in 7500 miles. Highly dissatisfied with this car. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Love my Subie! - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By ret - October 6 - 8:43 amThis is my first Subie after years owning German cars. I am really surprised at this little package of fun & all-wheel-drive. It is very comfortable and seems much bigger when sitting in it then I expected. I also had my eye on the Mazda 3 but was sold on the AWD.

2010 WRX 5-Door Satin White - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By rudy - May 31 - 5:06 amPrior to purchasing this car I test drove the new GTI, Speed-3, and the Mini Clubman S. However one drive int he Subaru WRX and the decision was easy. The Subie impressed me right away with its combination of incredible power and AWD grip. The interior is well done too. The sport seats are perfect and the cockpit looks awesome with the glowing red gauges and white needles that sweep upon start up. The engine revs very smooth and transmits little to no vibration at idle. The steering communicates good feedback with the road and offers a very tight turn radius. In the back the 19 cubic feet of cargo area allow for this car to be both a utility vehicle and a weekend toy.

5,000 Mile Update - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By Anthony Lo - March 12 - 11:40 pmWere still enjoying our Impreza tremendously since new and have been using it daily. Have not had any issues outside of careless people banging their doors in parking lots. Size of the vehicle is working nicely for our family in terms of leg room and shoulder room. Traction and vehicle control is unbelievable with the AWD system and wheel/tire set up. Very stable handling on the freeway - feels more secure than anything Ive driven. Still not a big fan of the velvetty interior fabric but its not the worst Ive seen. Plastic surfaces too hard to the touch and fuel economy is mediocre. Stock stereo should have an AUX input for iPods - lame! Padding on the seats could be thicker.

Fun to drive - 2010 Subaru Impreza
By Eric - January 11 - 9:33 amI go up into the mountains a lot and this car is perfect! It has a very comfortable ride to it and has enough power to get around in the mountains. It sticks to the roads and handles extremely well in the snow. The manual is a must and makes it really fun to drive. I am very happy with my purchase.
