Super Fun to Drive - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By masterdds - December 29 - 4:04 pmJust picked it up this week. So far, the car has been a blast to drive. I have been getting about 22MPG on mountain roads. The stock stereo is decent. Leather very comfortable. Some road noise, which I dont mind. One caveat is that there are not too many compartments to store stuff....I am the type of person to carry around some supplies for emergencies and moving from my old Corolla to this car forced me to downsize.

Subaru Impreza WRX review - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By mikeb32 - November 24 - 10:13 amI have recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX and over all Im happy with what the car has to offer. This car has undeniably good value for money in terms of the performance you get out, its more comfortable than I thought it would be, you have loads of leg and head room, the boot space is sufficient and its impossible to get bored driving about in it. There are, however, a few down falls that might get on your nerves. The amount of noise caused by rattling in the cabin is pretty irritating!, the traction control makes the gear changes a little jerky and the revs bounce slightly when its on, but at least that can always be turned off at the push of a button

Love my new Subie!!! - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By SubieLove - August 26 - 2:00 amMy first Subie and I LOVE HER! I need AWD for NH winters, so considered RAV4, Suzuki SX4, Matrix, Outback, Forester, Impreza. Did tons of research; this OBS had what I needed: reliability, safety, wagon versatility, adorability, good price. I LOVE driving this car. Smooth, but can feel the road; easy shifting (but shifter feels a bit rubbery); comfy seats; perfect cargo space for 1 person; hugs the road; very responsive; good stereo; sits up high w/lift on drivers seat. Ive owned a Tercel/Civic/Miata, so Im used to great mpg. Have driven 170 miles on 30-60 mph country roads; meter says 31 mpg. But I can see my fuel meter wand move down as I drive. Yow. But I adore this car already.

Lots of good things, but major flaws too - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By Ken - March 9 - 10:00 amAlmost a great car, but seats could be improved and I found the headrest to be very uncomfortable. Certain bass notes even at normal volume cause the door panels to rattle like a cheap car from the 80s. They should not try to produce any bass in the door speakers and instead use a subwoofer towards the back of the car like youll find in any car with a nice sound system. I have the bass at -7 to stop the rattle, and may try a small aftermarket subwoofer in the back (good bye cargo space), not sure it will work. 4-speed trans needs an extra gear. Otherwise happy. Would recommend if they can fix these problems.

Already traded it! - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By mamabex - December 17 - 6:30 pmBought this car new in Feb 2011. Loved the looks and wanted that legendary Subaru reliability. Boy, we were sorely mistaken. We just traded it in after the last straw--and its January, 2013. We had to have the engine REPLACED at 18K. REPLACED. This is a dealer-serviced car, driven gently back and forth to work and to the grocery store, etc. Engine knocked, we took it in, and it spent the next MONTH and change in the shop. After they replaced the engine, we thought everything was okay--until a few weeks ago, when it began knocking AGAIN. We took it back in. For the last time. We traded that heap and havent looked back. This car was probably a lemon, but still disappointed.

Great Car!!! - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By eyean27 - December 12 - 8:52 pmI was in the market for a new car and couldnt be happier with my decision. Considered Accord Coup V6, Evo Ralliart, GTI, and Mazda 3. I was very impressed with the performance of the WRX. Quick acceleration and great handling!! The interior cabin is quite spacious considering its a compact car. I was hoping for better gas mileage but thats due to a heavy foot! Im avg 20 in town and about 28 highway.

My 2011 SSM STI - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By turbosti - September 4 - 3:12 amI purchased my Subaru from Heuberger Subaru in Colorado Springs, CO. It is my first Subaru and it will definitely not be my last! The car is an awesome car! I have enjoyed it very much so far. My options I got was the navigation, short throw shifter, all weather mats, and homelink rear view mirror. In my opinion you definitely need the short shifter. The navigation isnt the best and the speakers are very good, but that isnt the reason I bought the car. The car stock sounds really good and runs well. I am very happy with the car and plan on keeping it for quite some time. You will always get people cranking their necks to look at your car too.

Saved my life - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By blondbubbles - June 17 - 7:42 pmI loved this car.I recently was hit by a truck going 50 pretty much head on.I was going 10 mph, I would have to recommend this car to anyone who is buying their first car. With my new car now totaled, my passanger as well as myself pretty much walked away with minor brusies. The safety in this car blew me away.I now will never drive a different car.The power that it had was enough to get around and still have some speed to it.Although the gas mileage was a little lower than i would have liked, it handled great in the snow.If only i could upload the pictures, you would have thought someone died in the accident.

Great car - 2 gripes - 2011 Subaru Impreza
By cmstripling - December 22 - 10:12 pmMechanically this car is wonderful. I went from a Dodge Charge w/ a V6 to the WRX and it is a night a day driving experience. Shifts are smooth and easy to navigate acceleration is more than adaquate and Ive gotten pretty decent gas milage (21.5). Two complaints, the stereo is terrible. The car is light and obviously is doing w/o on some sound insulation but thats not what bothers me. If youre going to save weight by not having that then make the stereo adaquate to compensate. It doesnt. The leather on my new car was not installed properly. There was slack in the leather on portions of the passenger side seats. Stitching was good, but they left too much leather on the sections.
