This is a great vehicle. I down sized from a Dodge Durango and other than a few of the comforts (heated seats, leather) I dont miss it for a second. The RAV has a smooth ride with guts when needed. I love taking it up to the mountians on ski trips and with all the room there is plenty of room for friends.

When I say I test drove everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I have had my RAV4 for 3 years now and plan to drive it until the wheels fall off!. Great performance, the V6 does not mess around when you are trying to enter the freeway. I commute 60 miles a day. Did great in the Ohio Snow this year. The tire "sensor" went out a month ago. Havent had that replaced yet. I always get compliments about how shiny and clean it looks. I swaer its the paint. Always looks great. You would not believe what I have hauled in this RAV4. A 60" kitchen base cabinet and 6 foot counter top, twin mattress and box springs- its great.

With two kids, we love the optional third-row of seats. It allows us to take an extra kid or two to hockey practice, soccer..etc. There is a surprising amount of room left for storage with the third seat up. Though I wouldnt reccomend that row for anyone but children, because it leaves no leg room. With the seat down, there is a lot of storage in the back. Again, we are hockey parents, so that is a huge plus. The milage has been great, about 27 mpg, mostly highway driving. And I love, the audio jack for the MP3 player. The stability control is great, and it has downhill assist, which should come in handy in the snow this winter.

Im very impressed with the V6 engine. This thing just takes off! I love the looks of it. Of course there are a few things here and there that can be a bit better, but overall, I love this SUV more and more everyday! I just sat in an 07 4Runner today, I swear the RAV4 has more rear legroom than the 4Runner!

We love this car. Consistently get 24 mpg if I keep it under 80. It handles like a sports car, very quick. Interior layout is the most convenient, cup holders are up front for easy access. Dont like where Toyota put the cruise control & road noise is a little excessive but tolerable. We are currently looking for another one for my wife.

  • Super car with great features. - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Although I have only owned my Rav4 for a couple of days now, I can say it is a fantastic vehicle. I moved up from a very nice but small Echo so in many ways the Rav4 feels like a luxury vehicle! It is powerful, fast, safe and roomy. I only wish that 2WD Limited models were available so I could have purchased one with a few more extras:) If you are thinking about getting this vehicle, you must take it for a test drive and check out all it comes with. Youll be sold! It is no wonder its been so popular for all these years.

  • I am impressed! - 2007 Toyota RAV4

This is a company vehicle and I could not be happier. Toyota has really thought about this vehicle and it shows. The ride is comfortable and quiet. The handling is quick and sure-footed. The sound system is superb. I love the Bluetooth and I am on the phone a lot! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs a small SUV with a big feel. The fold flat seats from the back door is a great feature. This is a GREAT vehicle!

Recently purchased, but...so far so good!!!! I have never been happier with purchasing a new vehicle. The Rav4 is great on gas for an SUV, I have the 4cyl but it still has good "get-up-and- go" on the interstate. I couldnt be happier with my new Toyota!

  • Catastrophic Engine Failure/vvt oil leak - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

I used to love this car. I ordered it specifically. We own several Toyotas. After only 37000 miles I had a VVT hose leak spraying the car engine and making loud grinding sound. The dealer will not examine the valves or open the drip pan. I have found this is more common than Toyota is letting on. Toyota has only replaced the hose (60000 power train warranty) and will not agree to look for any damage that may have occurred. The warning light does not come on until the oil is gone and the engine is frozen. Horrible combination. Hope this helps someone else avoid this situation.

  • RAV 4 over new CRV - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

This is my fourth Toyota, and the best one yet. Silky smooth controls, very subtleshifts, and overall refinement well above average cars. My 80 pound Dobe can stand up straight in the back. Four cly. provides more than enough power here in WI, but six would be desirable in mountains. Looks awesome with 18 inch wheels and flares. Makes my Tacoma seem primitive. Drove a new CRV and it did not compare
