The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  The warrenty cant be beat. pick the one you want, price it and shop the dealerships on-line. keep shopping them until you get the best price. Its a wonderful car, I love mine. Looks like a Lexus but priced like a Kia.

  I thought it would be a big change from driving a car at first it was but it handles great. The gas mileage could be better but what do you expect these days nothing gets as good gas mileage as it used to.

  Never been happier with an SUV. Owned Hondas for the past 15 years with much satisfaction, but I cant say enough about the Kia Sorento. Much more for the money than anything wlse I test drove, including BMW x5,x3 & Lexus RX330. Buy one and youll see for yourself.

  Excellent vehicle. Fun to drive. Head turner. Good handling. Quite. I had factory problem with engine. Kia immediately gave me a whole new engine - no hassels.

  For the money and safety ratings, I think that the Kia Sorento is the best mid size Suv. We love ours. We have had no problems with it since we bought it 10 months ago. It drives very well, and has a very comfortable ride to it. It has plenty of power for towing my 18 CC fishing boat.

  We ahve been on two family vacations with this vehicle. So far it has been comfortable and very reliable. The mileage is a little low but it makes up for this with more than enough horsepower!!

  KIA Motors does not honor their warranties by FIXING the defects in their vehicles. My 2004 Sorento has had MANY bulbs replaced and Kia service said they did not know what the problem was. Now that my warranty has expired, I find that KIA DID know the harness wiring needed to be replaced so fix the reoccurring problems of headlights/tail lights going out. They knew this back in 2006, and made those changes on their new vehicles in 2007.

  I have had several people mention to me not to buy a Kia. I asked why because they said they were cheap and lemons. Well I was in the market for a new SUV, so I test drove the Liberty, Escape and the Sorento. Now my mind was set on the Escape( Every car I have own was a Ford). But I was passing by the Kia Dealership and decided to stop and test drive the Sorento. Boy, was I surprise. I mean I fell in LOVE Instantly. By the time I left, I was riding home in my new Sorento. All of those people that told me not to by a Kia. How do they know they never owned one. So I have my own advice now. Go give Kia a chance. You wont be disappointed
