x-runner rocks - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
By gijoe - November 17 - 11:40 amGreat handling and nice free flow exhaust notes. Mileage is good for this size and power. Had only one fillup so far and went 320 miles on a little less than 16 gallons. Love the close ratios in the 6-speed.

2005 Access Cab 4 cyl - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
By Northof50 - November 13 - 9:06 amAm very pleased with this truck. Excellent build quality, esp. paint. SR5 package has nice amenities. I use the truck mostly back/forth to work. Rides well. Good performance for 4 cyl. Getting 23mpg+. Like innovative one- piece box; made bedliners and spray on coatings obsolete. Wife likes easy handling. Smooth transmission. Handled well in snow; didnt need 4WD.

Huge Improvement over previous - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
By Skylandry - November 6 - 7:23 pmI owned a 2000 Frontier and a 2002 Tacoma crew cab 4wd. The 2005 is light years ahead of the both. Ride, comfort and inside finish are excellent. I compared it to the Nissan which had much to offer but the ride and seats were marginal. If you want a compact 4wd truck, the Tacoma is the best truck/value in the game. This truck is even great for long highway commutes. Only thing they need to add is the power window in the back like the Tundra.

FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
By BigWilcox - October 22 - 2:36 amThis dual cab mid sized is just what this consumer needed. The hood scoop makes it look kinda masculine. It is masculine. Have got 7,000 miles on it and everything is good. Got 20.9 mpg last weekend overall on trip to Charleston. Enjoyed the drive.

A Great Truck - 2005 Toyota Tacoma
By AES - October 6 - 12:26 pmThis has been an excellent truck. It is truly fun to drive. The turning radius is short compared to my old F150. The performance and handling is excellent. You have plenty of room inside and the ride is very comfortable. It rides like an expensive car. I have had no problems with it at all.
