First Time Honda Owner - 2005 Honda CR-V
By nogaqrpham - November 11 - 7:03 amThis is a relatively new car, as I have had it for only 3 weeks. I bought it based on the Honda name and the features. So far, the car has exceeded my expectations. I have always driven larger and heavier cars and was concerned about the comfort and ride. So far, I am very pleased with the ride and the comfort is excellent. The biggest surprise is the excellent acceleration, even in fast traffic. The 5 speed automatic works great! All of my previous cars have been mini- vans, and I also was worried about the smaller cargo area. While I have not needed to haul any 4 by 8 plywood sheets yet, I have plenty of room for most of my needs. The value is great!

Best SUV of the Year - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Dave - October 24 - 6:38 pmThe Honda CR-V of 2005 beat out all the other SUVs in 2005 for quality & traction control (yes, even the Jeep Wrangler!). This is a fine tuned, well manufactured automobile! Ive owned this car since college. Over the years, Ive watched my friends spend $1000s in out of pocket costs for parts and labor to keep up their cars. Over the past 2 years (130,000-160,000) Ive spent about $3000 in repairs (mostly due to the fact that Ive kicked the crap out of the suspension on Colorados rocky roads). Since Ive left, I havent done anything but the regular servicing. This car will take the abuse and just keep on rolling on!

Very happy with Honda - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Jason - August 20 - 3:49 pmI own a 2005 Honda CR-V SE and brought it on Nov of 2004 and its been a great car since the first day I brought it. Its been to seven different states and its has given me no problems on the road trip. It has 61,500 miles on it now. I also am very happy with the gas mileage, the best gas mileage I ever gotten on the highway was 37 and close to 40 mpg a few times with the AC off going about 60 mph. With the AC on I get about 32 to 34 mpg on the highway. The worst gas mileage I ever gotten was 21 mpg in town but that only happens a few times. Its very easy for me to change my own oil and trans services and i used the best oil like amsoil for improved gas mileages.

Excellent - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Cheryl - August 17 - 8:33 amThis just might be the first automobile I can honestly say, "I Love." It handles superbly in bad weather. For a small SUV, it is amazingly comfortable. I highly recommend this truck.

Best vehicle ever own - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Dan - August 14 - 2:16 pmI bought my CR-V SE back in Nov of 2004 and still own the car today with 61,500 miles. So far I have been very please with my CR-V because there have been no problems. I change my oil every 5000 to 7500 miles with Amsoil motor oil. I services the transmission myself every 15,000 miles. Its easy because it has a drain plug just like changing the oil. I highly recommended any type of Honda vehicle to anyone because my has been so reliable, my mother and brother both own a Honda. All three of our cars get great gas mileage better than what the window stickers says. I am thinking of getting a new Honda CR-V Turbo Diesel when its comes in late 2009 as a 2010 year model because of the better MPG.

My 3rd Cr-V - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Ed from KC - July 19 - 4:30 pmAlthough this SUV is considered small, it is surprisingly large inside with great access and lots of space for stuff.Better pick-up than the older models plus a sunroof really makes it fun to Drive, adding a passenger side armrest pleased my wife as that was a complaint of hers on our other 2 It is easy to get into as I am 57". The heated seats are great and you sit high enough in the vehicle to get a great view of the road, Its easy to park and the gas mileage is good, I know 2 people who rode in mine and bought one and I said less to them than I have in this review so....

Perfect Car for Me - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Saab Girls hubby - July 16 - 3:10 amI wanted to add to the family fleet a car that is designed for utility, reliable, weather worthy, economical, comfy enough for a 300+ mile trip with females aboard, yet can also serve as my mobile man cave. Gas prices scared me off pick up trucks and full size SUVs. Besides, I dont tow, haul or off road. It looked like it was hard to make a really bad choice among compact SUVs, but for my purposes the CR-V is the pick of the litter. I enjoy driving this car. In hilly areas, its interesting to keep an eye on the tach to check out what the smart 5-speed auto is up to. Sometimes I enjoy just examining the clever design solutions and overall quality.
