A Special Edition trim debuts that includes heated leather seats, heated mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, as well as body-color bumpers, side molding, door handles and hard spare tire cover.
- Highly versatile and roomy interior, stable handling, comfortable ride, good crash test scores standard airbags, ABS and stability control.
- Limited off-road ability, not as big inside as some of its competitors, no V6 option.

Very Satisfied with my CR-V - 2005 Honda CR-V
By mrcay - February 17 - 3:20 amIve owned 4 Toyotas (1 Camry, 2 Highlanders & 1 Matrix) before and this is my first Honda. I am very impressed with the CR-V. I was considering a RAV4 but this is a better choice--more features and lower price. It is spacious for a small SUV. The acceleration is just fine for a 4 cylinder SUV. I love the pewter pearl color.

Worth the money - 2005 Honda CR-V
By NOLA Owner - January 15 - 1:11 pmI love my CRV. I will never own another brand vehicle. I have so many positives, so Ill tell others about my negatives. You cant roll down the back windows without hearing a horrible vibration. The exterior panels around the wheel wells are fading to a gray while everything else is black. The intermittent wipers need more variety/speeds. I would like another power outlet up front...for 2 cell phones. POSITIVES- very spacious, drives great, fast acceleration for a 4 cyl.,good gas mileage, quiet. I love my CRV

Great Vehicle - 2005 Honda CR-V
By bl54 - December 28 - 3:49 pmVery pleased after 26,000 miles. Bought Honda based on previous experience with Accord, Civic and a few motorcycles. Incredible performance in inclement weather, drives like the pavement is always dry. Excellent cargo and passenger capacity for a small vehicle.

TeolisCRV - 2005 Honda CR-V
By M. Teolis - December 6 - 7:26 pmMy wife was interested in a smaller SUV. We had two cars to trade, as I did not need to travel as much, being retired, and she liked the appearance of the CRV. Her daughter-in-law in Chicago had one. We traded a 1991 BMW 500 series (131,000 miles) and a 1994 Dodge Caravan, (64,000 miles) plus $15,000 cash total.

awsome ride - 2005 Honda CR-V
By mary - December 6 - 3:50 amMy husband and I purchased this suv a week ago and love it! There is so much room inside and in the back seat that we were suprised! We go on trips all the time with our friends and now we will all have plenty of room. The interior is well designed with plenty of storage. Overall just suprised at how well it handles, not joking when they say it handles like a car. Also is much quieter than the toyota rav4 on highway.

Excellent Vale - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Ed - December 5 - 1:52 pmSecond CRV I have owned. Traded 02 for 05 EX. Love the vehicle. Original Tires were crap. At 12k replaced with Cooper Tires--road noise disappeared and ride and traction improved. Good mileage 22/28-adequate power, easy to drive and park.Looked at several competitors--beat them all hands down. Fit and finish the best on the market. Resale cant be beat. One of the safest SUVs on the market.

Love It - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Suzanna - December 1 - 3:43 amThis is my 1st Honda ever and I am trying to figure out why I havent bought one before this. This is a very fun vehicle to drive nice quite smooth ride. The price on it cant be beat. The only thing I dont care to much for is the comfort of the seats, they are firm, need to be a little more plush just like the vehicle is. The vehicle is a Very Classy Smaller SUV. I highly recommend if you have a family of 4 plenty of space for all. We esepcially love the picnic table and the sunroof. 4 1/2 stars for us (again just because of the firmness) thats all.

My dream car - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Annie - November 28 - 1:33 amI purchased my CR-V after owning a Forester for three years. Though I loved my Subaru, I wanted something a little bigger and higher. The heated seats/exterior mirrors sold me on the move to the CR-V, and I dont regret it! I just love driving my car. It feels so sporty and secure, and I cant believe how large the interior seems. Im looking forward to see how it handles in the snow. The excellent reliability ratings and consumer reviews were a big selling point, too.

Very Satisfied - 2005 Honda CR-V
By DrStick - November 25 - 1:36 pmPurchased the 2005 CRV SE after looking at most of the competition. Had a high mileage trade-in that delayed the sales process but we finally came to an acceptable agreement Went to the Seattle Auto Show and looked at all of the smaller SUVs like the CRV and nothing comes close to the quality at the price I paid. Did the soundproofing for $250 and really cant tell the difference but Im satisfied with the noise level. Not sure about the tire noise that I hear - this is my first SUV so I guess I expect some level of road noise.

Excellent vehicle - 2005 Honda CR-V
By Verne - November 17 - 6:21 pmI drove a 1997 honda CR-V for 160,000 miles and had absolutely no problems and traded it in for the 2005 I now own. The new car is definitely far superior to the 1997 in all ways except gas mileage which is about 20% lower than the 97.
