  no problems and fun to drive - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  Ive had my solara convertible for 6 months now and it is a enjoyable to drive and offers a comfortable drive. The styling is also very slick and Im often given compliments on the car at stop lights saying how much it looks like the pricier Lexus SC430. I actually looked at both cars at the NY Auto Show last spring with the intent to purchase the Lexus but with the drivers seat adjusted comfortably for myself my seatback actually touched the rear seat leaving no room even for a child to sit comfortably in the rear however I have fit 2 grown adults in the rear of my solara with the my seat in a comfortable position and Im 6-0 tall.

  Just traded in my wifes mint Red Corvette convertible for this pearl white exterior with tan leather interior and tan top SLE V6 convertible Solara! Although this car has been in my garage for the past week, 5 neighbors have stopped by to look at it and all think it is a Lexus! The Solara is very comfortable and receives the same stares as driving the vette! This car has great interior and exterior appeal and a much easier convertible top function. I considered the Lexus SC 430 for my wife but prefered saving $ 40,000 with the Solara! The only change I made was to replace the 17" alloy wheels with custom chrome wheels which make the pearl white exterior stand out better.

  The car is a dream to drive. Just the right amount of luxury and power for the price. Its half the price of a Lexus sc430 but nearly as nice.

  Having had 4 BMWs, 3 Porsches, and numerous other cars in my lifetime; I must say this Toyota is the best of them all. Build quality and dependability is unmatched, and the comfort and economy is excellent. Keep building it!

  Jet Black exterior with tan hides and tan rag top. Loaded and the best navigation system ever! Great quality, superior looks and finish. Too many features to list here. Why pay 45k to 56k for other convertibles? This baby is sharp!

  Exellent JBL sound system, impressive fit and finish, well laid out interior, head turning exterior design, padded convertible roof. Loaded with little extras: one button to raise/lower all windows, simple and speedy top, intelligent front passenger seat airbag. Glove box and center dash cubby open as if on hydraulics. Tilt and telescope steering wheel and full power drivers seat ensure a comfortable driving position. Optional Day Time Running lights is a plus.

  Great Topess Fun - Something Different - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  Having owned three Chrysler Sebrings in a row, this was my try at "something different". Glad I did. This is one great car! The 3.3L VVTi engine (the same one in the much pricier Lexus ES330 and RX330) is a jewel. Buttery smooth with plenty of power. So far, my only fill-up since I got it averaged 23.5 miles per gallon on regular. Filled it up with mid-grade and the mileage computer says Im getting 25.5 mpg in combined city and highway (I drive 25 miles each way to work). Another nice feature is that they are rare enough that you dont see yourself coming and going as in a Sebring.

  I love my new car, it is great. Looks fantastic, lots of storage and very fun to drive. It has a lot of get up and go, I tested that part too, the ride is like driving a cloud, even at higher speeds. Out of all the cars I tested I was in love with this one, the rest I liked. Most convertibles dont have trunk space for much more than the top cover, this one has a large trunk for traveling, and this is the car to do it in. Can you tell I love MY car

  This car is a pleasure to drive, very smooth and very quiet. When the top is up it doesnt even feel like a convertible. My only complaint is the small back window but you get used to it.

  I love the styling, the ride is smooth, plenty of back seat space for guests -- BUT -- the blind spots are horrible and there is a slight hesitation on acceleration on the highway.
