The Altima's winning formula continues with few changes. Smoke is a new exterior color choice, and four-cylinder models meet stricter federal emissions standards. Models with California emissions are now classified as Partial Zero Emissions Vehicles (PZEV).

  I never thought I would own any car made by any company other than Chevrolet until I bought a Chevy Malibu. We had nothing but problems from the get go. We have had a wonderful experience with our Altima. I for one am thrilled my husband convinced me that I needed a new car. I LOVE MY ALTIMA

  For the money,($22,600 w/sunroof and foglights)you cant find another car as well equiped.The Bose stereo is outstanding,steering wheel controls are nifty and its got nice power for a 4 cylinder(175 HP)Leather seats feel good, not cheap like some companies make. I highly recommend it if you are the sort who likes a luxury like superstar at a great price

  I wanted this car for the longest time, and when I test drove it, it was everything I expected and more! I fell in love with it immediately and just had to have it! If you want a nice sized sedan that stands out from the crowd, the Altima is for you. The color of mine is Mystic Emerald, and it looks so beautiful when its clean and is forgiving when dirty. Seats are comfortable, drives quietly and smoothly, great 6-speaker factory stereo, power everything is standard. I think I will own Nissan Altimas forever!!!

  The car rides nice and it really holds the road! It drives like a dream! I would recommend the car to anyone its a great buy!

  I like the styling. Interior layout is pretty good, but you will notice that Nissan just doesnt use very high quality materials on the interior. Ride and handling is pretty darn good in this car. The 2.5L has plenty of power, but the automatic transmission was not all that great, but ok. Fuel mileage is good, 28-30mpg on the highway. Overall, this is a pretty good choice considering I got mine for a little over 18K. I ended up trading for a Toyota 4Runner. I would recommend the Altima, but would also encourage considering spending a little more on a Honda or Toyota as I believe those cars are of superior quality and have better residual values.

  This was my 2nd Altima. I had a 95 that I bought used in 96, kept it until 05 (160k miles) when I bought my 2nd one (also used). These cars definitely seem to have problems w/the O2 sensors (both of mine did), but overall are reliable. Unfortunately, I just totalled my 2nd one (at 73k miles) so I am off this weekend to by another :(
