Esthers Interior departing - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Esther Dudley - April 12 - 2:06 amI love my car but I am very disappointed with what is happening to my interior. I have already replaced my exterior around two of my windows. This is truly a problem with the manufacture I think. This is causing me money to fix and stress because of the way the car is looking. This is my second Toyota and I can not believe what is going on. When I went to the dealership where I purchased the car they did not show interest in fixing the car but for me to purchase. I am trying to find out if this is a recall.

I love it... - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By ericoria - March 21 - 10:00 amI used to drive a Mitsubishi Eclipse (a disaster that cost me a fortune in repair costs and eventually ended up with a cracked engine block). So I am extremely happy with my reliable Corolla S. It has great gas mileage and is very well built. I would highly recommend this car to anyone!!

Great Car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By JB - February 29 - 4:46 pmI was spending $320/mo. in gas at the time I purchased this vehicle, so there were two things I looked for in my vehicle: reliability and gas mileage. This is the premium package for both. I drive my car all the time and living 30 minutes from work I only spend about $100/mo. in gas now. I recently took a small road trip in 530 miles, I used 15 gallons of gas! So I averaged at 35 mpg! I could improve this number by getting a tune up, an oil change, and inflating my tires. I also used my air conditioner most of the way and drove at about 75 mpg. Not bad.

Great Car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By dfgausa - February 6 - 10:00 amI had a Corolla 94 before which was a good car with more than a 120K miles. Thats why I decided to go with the new corolla S on 2001. I think they have improved their suspension and with the new technology on the engine going anywhere makes any trip comfortable. Although I should say I regret I didnt wait until 2002 to get the new Corolla 2003

Buy it. - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Michael Templeton - October 13 - 8:13 pmIts really a great car. Almost every review is a big success. I have immensely enjoyed my yota. It had 67,000 mi. when I purchased it. I road- tripped out to Oregon from Michigan in April 2006 (6,200 mi. round trip) and it was a dream. Nothing went wrong with the car, we had only to change the oil once, and thats it. It never overheated, and it took on the Rockies with valiant spirit. One thing that DID go wrong though, as strange as it may sound, was that the cd player and volume knob broke. But we discovered later that SOMEHOW the volume was now fully controllable through the dashlight knob, and the headlight stick would turn the sound off and on...?? Weird. My experience earns a big nod!

Fun Car to Drive - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Hal - August 28 - 9:06 pmBought this car used in 2005 and has given me nothing by outstanding service. Put some Hankook tires on it about a year ago and it made all the difference in the ride and handling of the car. Passing is a breeze with the peppy engine.

Good Starter Car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By NITSEY - August 28 - 10:00 amI have had other toyota products in the past, but they were all older, so i decided to bite the bullet and buy a fairly new used 2001 corolla CE. the car look good from the front, but i find that the rear end is a little plain. the performance is fine, personally i will sacrifice performance for fuel economy any day. GOOD STARTER CAR THAT WILL BE WORTH SOMETHING WHEN I AM FINISHED PAYING FOR IT.
