The 2.5 RS now has drive-by-wire electronic throttle control and a new four-speed automatic transmission. The dashboard center stack/console has been redesigned with improved cupholders and fancier metallic trim. The 2.5 RS wagon, which boasts the RS sedan's upgraded suspension tuning, alloy wheels and sport seats, has replaced last year's 2.5 TS wagon. The WRX picks up automatic climate control, redesigned alloy wheels and body-color ground effects. Smoke-tinted headlight lenses and revised exterior colors round out the changes.

• A stout 227 horsepower in the WRX, all-wheel-drive grip, a variety of sedans and wagons to choose from, fun to drive.

  Ive had my 05 Impreza RS Wagon for a week. So far so good. Great car, built in Japan with great quality contro. Fun to drive, very reliable. 165hp is not fast enough for an AWD, but it is good for daily commute I guess.

  Thin sheetmetal, thin paint, notchy shifter, easily customized, fantastic performance, great utility. No other car comes close at this price; nice interior for class. Great seats. Wish the wagon had a sunroof.

  This vehicle should come with a bio-degradable operators licence. Although I have received only one speeding citation, it is because of a good radar-detctor and exceptional good fortune. The performance is breath-taking: in addition to unbelievable acceleration and braking, it corners as if it is on rails. It looks like economy sedan on steroids and if it has a single drawback it is the driver comfort that it lacks. The fuel economy is limited by the weight of ones right foot, but that means it is fair-to-poor milage for my driving style. The STis greatest asset is "Fun" which it has in abundance. It is addictive, so enjoy the abuse if you purchase one.

  Ive owned it for more than two years and Ive got about 42,000 miles on it. I STILL look forward to my commute! I also end up volunteering to drive my friends everywhere. I really cant think of a better car to have purchased. Its done everything from weekend joyrides to moving an impossible loads. The performance and handling have gotten me out of trouble on the road that I might not have otherwise avoided. Reliability has been spotless other than a few glitches with the lock/unlock beeper. Slipping the clutch at 3000RPM produces little lag. Keep the RPMs above 4000 on a twisty road, and you discover the genuine gran-tourismo character of this car.

  Ive driven many performance cars in my time and I have to say that this car stands toe to toe with most all of them. Ive outrun Cobra Mustangs, Dodge Charger SRT8s, older model Porsches, you name it. Phenomenal handling, super brakes, and a nice interior for a race car. Dont forget folks, compare the interior to other race cars, not luxury cars. Its fairly nice for a race car. It eats Vettes. They spin, you win. Awesome car! Period!

  I bought a Subaru Impreza sport wagon. Its funny because it was more of a hatchback than a station wagon and it handled amazingly well. I recently totaled it but came out without a scratch! When I test drove the new 2008 Imprezas, they were clunkier, heavier, and didnt take turns as well. I know 3 years isnt long, but I never had a single problem that brought me to the dealer. Im a huge fan and wish they didnt redesign the imprezas so I could happily buy another one! Great gas mileage, handling, braking, acceleration (for its price and engine), lots of storage space on the wagonI

  I love this car! I own a little 92 Honda Civic HB and I tell myself that Im going to drive the Civic to work for commuting but I cant resist driving the WRX because its so much fun. If you like fast cars like me youll love this car. Before making any judgments on this car I suggest you go to your nearest Subaru dealership to test drive it to see for yourself. After that the price doesnt seem so bad.

  Great fun to drive but I have been used to fuel injection so its a bit disappointing to have to wait for the auto gear box to kick down before anything happens. I dont feel confident about being able to accelerate out of trouble or to get between gaps in cars. Otherwise I love the AWD and suspension and will definitely buy another Subaru.

  just a overall fun to drive car, you get looks everywhere you go! be careful though because it is a magnet to girls, cops, and theives. but at the end of the day its alllll worth it. thank you subaru
