Overview & Reviews
The four-door Double Cab joins the 2004 Toyota Tundra lineup. The Double Cab rides on an extended wheelbase of 140.5 inches, and features a cargo bed equal in length to the Access Cab's while gaining 3.5 inches of depth.
- Smooth and refined V8, Toyota build quality and reliability, easy maneuverability in urban areas, roomy Double Cab configuration.
- Lacks serious brawn for towing and hauling, uncomfortable front seats, cramped rear seat in Access Cab, chintzy interior trimmings.

Best light truck available today! - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Steve_in_Colorado - October 17 - 10:00 amThe best ride and gas mileage of all the "full size" trucks I tested. Manages to have a full size bed and an excellent backseat for my kids. Car like handling with the ability to haul the small loads I use for work. Nice build quality and a good stereo system. We love the rear sliding window, no buffeting even at speed. The sunroof is huge, and there enough drink holders for 6 people.

Good Everyday Commute Truck - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By OAZ - August 29 - 10:00 amPurchased the model with bench seats. It has a fold down center console with plenty of storage space, xtra cup holders. Overall, a great everday truck to commute to work. The V6 has plenty of power for merging/passing on Hwy. I havent towed anything yet. The truck is comfortable and all interior gadgets are easily accessible. A couple of concerns: Dont leave a phone charger connected to the outlet, I experienced hessitation when starting the engine. Poorly designed back doors, they should open like front doors, design makes it difficult to get in and out. Lastly, the brake rotors warping. My 2004 is fine, but other owners 2000-2003 have many complaints

tundra double cab limited - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By rocklan - June 10 - 2:00 amAwesome truck. Drives like a sports car. Needs bigger armrest and more comfy front seats. Other than that this truck is top notch. Dont skimp with the SR5 package, the Limited package transforms the vehicle from a Toyota to a Lexus

Dallas Review - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Z - June 3 - 10:46 pmAfter looking at Dodge and Ford we agreed that the Toyota Tundra would be a better deal. Not financially, but overall including workmanship, resale value, size, comfort, amenities and visual appeal. Buying it one year used brought the price down right where it should be. I love the space, the smooth ride and the quiet interior. It doesnt have a great turning radius, but everything else is top notch. I plan to get the mileage out of this one. Just pricey.
