Overview & Reviews
Toyota has expanded the Tundra's body style variety by adding a new StepSide model. Its distinctive styling includes flared rear wheel arches and special tail lamps. If you want to make the StepSide even sportier, there is a new sport suspension package available. All 2003 Toyota Tundras have a restyled front fascia, standard antilock brakes and a center console similar to the one found in the Sequoia SUV. For the top-line Limited trim, Toyota has added a power sliding rear window.
- Silky V8, Toyota build quality and reliability, less-than-full-size maneuverability.
- Lacks wide range of choice offered by domestics, somewhat uncomfortable front seats, meager rear cab room on Access Cab, chintzy interior trimmings.

Great deal on a great truck - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By sevriano - March 29 - 10:00 amJust picked this Tundra up yesterday. Have owned Nissan King Cab and Ford F150 Supercab 4X4. This Tundra is loaded and makes for a very comfortable cabin. Have TRD offroad suspension and ride is better than Ford. Was going to wait for doublecab in fall but deal was too good to pass up($5400 off MSRP with rebate).

By MNU - January 28 - 5:50 amThe Tundra Access Cab V8 may not have that great gas milage, but the looks and power bring you to a whole new driving experience. I love it and will always buy TOYOTA!

I love this truck! - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By charlie1volley - January 16 - 2:00 amI have absolutely nothing but positive comments for this vehicle. I have ridden in many pickups/SUVs, and this one takes the cake. Smooth, soft, powerful ride. Simple, reliable interior, sharp-looking exterior. I have the TRD package and it is amazing. You can crawl up a tree in 4WD Lo and it bear hugs a wet road in 4WD Hi. Dual airbags make it safe for everyone! I love this truck!

By JetPlane - November 26 - 10:00 amLike this truck would recomend to anyone who need a truck and has small childen. Gas milage was better than expected while towing 15mpg and getting 18mpg on hwy. I have received alot of looks with the stepside bed. I expect this truck to last longer than my last GMC. My wife like it also!

Great In Every Way - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By Josh - September 21 - 9:46 pmI love my 2003 Toyota Tundra stepside. I got this to replace my Toyota 4Runner which I really liked. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I live in upstate new york where we got 4 feet of snow in one night. I decided to go to work the next day but I was sure I was not getting out of the driveway as it was over the bumper of the truck. I put the truck in 4WD and I was out. This truck has amazed me with all that it offers. I will always buy Toyota.

I LOVE MY TUNDRA - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By SHERI - May 22 - 2:00 amI like the fact that my truck is full size but not...... It is easy to maneuver which is something I was worried about coming from a Honda Civic. I think it is very comfortable atleast the front seats are. I have the bench seat in the front (the middle seat where the arm rest goes up isnt all that comfy). The back seat is comfortable and roomy for people under 6, but I wouldnt recommend it for anyone on long roadtrips. The back seat is very "L" shaped, no recline or bucket to it at all.

Best truck for me - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By DLee - April 26 - 2:00 amI drove a Ford Lariat & it was nice, but, like StephG, when I drove the Tundra a half mile down the road, the Ford was out of the running. Tundra is far smoother running & solid feeling. Of course, you cant beat Toyota for quality & reliability. My old Toyota small truck is 18 years old & has original clutch. Tundra has easy access to all components under the hood; Ford looks like they went out of their way to cover up all components with plastic shrouds. Toyota is traditionally conservative in styling-this truck doesnt have leading edge bells & whistles, just good quality & the features most people want.
