Overview & Reviews
Toyota has expanded the Tundra's body style variety by adding a new StepSide model. Its distinctive styling includes flared rear wheel arches and special tail lamps. If you want to make the StepSide even sportier, there is a new sport suspension package available. All 2003 Toyota Tundras have a restyled front fascia, standard antilock brakes and a center console similar to the one found in the Sequoia SUV. For the top-line Limited trim, Toyota has added a power sliding rear window.
- Silky V8, Toyota build quality and reliability, less-than-full-size maneuverability.
- Lacks wide range of choice offered by domestics, somewhat uncomfortable front seats, meager rear cab room on Access Cab, chintzy interior trimmings.

Toyota Tundra 2003 - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By Edward Oncken - November 13 - 5:50 pmDriving and ownership experience is without complaint. The Tundra handles well and drives easily. My experience as an owner is such that I would consider a Toyota Tundra again when I am ready to purchase again. I have not had a bad experience with this vehicle. I do think that the interior design should allow for more room in the rear passenger area. The leg room is too cramped. The front is comfortable but I would like for the drivers seat to move backward more than it does; however, it is OK.

Hard to beat for a full size pickup - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By GV - September 28 - 2:00 amFirst non-US pickup I have purchase but got tired of rattles in GM and Fords so decided to go with a Tundra. Cant believe a pick-up can run so quitetly, have so much power, and go over some wash boards without a rattle or vibration. Cant wait to see if it holds up but can recommend it to someone who doesnt like to have buttons fall off in the interior and gaps in moldings that I know I have found on US trucks.

Reliable One - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By itolittle - September 5 - 2:00 amVery Toyota like vehicle. Strong and dependable. Stylish exterior. Interior although adequate and functional does not live up to Toyota quality....a little cheap feel to it. Full-time 4WD would be nice feature. Overall, one happy customer

Tundra: Built like a Rock! - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By leezjosh - August 24 - 4:36 pmBought my truck in August of 2003. Currently has 150,000 miles. It has NEVER refused to start or break down on the road. The only complaint is due to a worn rear bearing, which is somewhat due to wear and tear. Acceleration is very good, leaps ahead of the crowd at stoplights. Very comfy and ergonomically correct interior. Cloth is plushy. Exterior paint is too thin and chips easily. Bumper is not very strong compared to previous Chevy 1500 bumper (Front and Rear) but adequate.

"Close To Perfect" - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By Benelli - August 6 - 10:00 amExcellent running and build quality, silky smooth powerful V-8. This truck looks great and priced very well into similar market. I am not sure why anyone is buying other 150 type 4X4 extended cab. A few more mpgs and you have "Perfection".

Very happy - 2003 Toyota Tundra
By john henry - May 22 - 2:00 amVery smooth and quite ride. Plenty of power for my needs. I pull a 21" boat and have no problems with it at all. I have always bought Chevy but this beats any Chevy I have been in and there have been several.
