  • Former Accord Owner - 2003 Toyota Camry

Just got my car the other day and notice a big improvement over 2003 Honda Accord EXL. I purchased my Accord in 09/2002. I have had to have a strut replaced after 2 weeks of owning, new rotors, water leaking in the trunk and stains on the headliner. The headliner was replaced once and was staining again. No problems withis car and I think Toyota may have a better product.

  • I almost bought the wrong car - 2003 Toyota Camry

After 500 miles on a new rental vehicle I realized this is not a highway vehicle. Highway driving is my job and this Camry was all over the road and bouncy at times...must be the little tires. Seating... for long periods of time is uncomfortable. The cruise control position is almost dangerous and hard to operate. Using the center console while driving is dangerous..it is located too far back. The tilt wheel only offered slight differences.

  • Camry beats all others - 2003 Toyota Camry

No my Camry is not exciting to drive or very fast. It is however VERY reliable. I have owned 4 Camrys and am able to put 200,000 on each one with no major problems. My present Camry I bought used with 80,000 miles I now have 203,000 miles and only replaced the gas cap!!! Do not be tempted to the dark side (Ford, Dodge or Chevy) Toyota has best build quality. The 2003 model gets an honest 33 miles per gallon. Mixed driving (500 miles to a tank).

FORMER SUV OWNER: This is a very solid, responsible car, a member of the ultra-low emisions group. Its green. This is a great switch from the gas-guzzling, environment-wrecking SUVs

  • Comfortable but with a major problem - 2003 Toyota Camry

Major Disappointment and problem. I would have been happy with my first Camry XLE except less than one month after purchasing, the car was leaking oil from the transmission/trans oil pan. After many visits and rental cars later the transmission etc. was replaced. Also, when braking quickly it feels like the brakes lock and the car slides without stopping. Scary!

  • Comfortably Reliable - 2003 Toyota Camry

I inherited this car a few months back, literally owned by a little old man. Four cylinder is sluggish from the start, but comes alive once it is rolling. Transmission seems well suited to make the most of 2.4 liters. Body style and interior are plain but functional. Actually, the body style grew on me.

  • Not Bad/Could be Better - 2003 Toyota Camry

I miss my V6 from my old GM AchievaS.I feel the difference in the power.I like the fuel economy;the large trunk is great;the interior is great-lots of leg room.I like the cup holders and leather -like accents in the car.I like the fact that if I leave on the headlights after turning off the car,the lights turn off automatically- no dead battery the next day!! All in all, I do feel safer in this car.

On my 2003 Camry SE (V6) I am only experiencing only 17/18 MPG overall. This consist of combine city/highway driving.
