Best Car Youll Ever Own - 2003 Toyota Camry
By DP - May 24 - 7:23 amI researched the Camry and similar models (Accord, etc) thoroughly before purchasing my XLE two years ago and have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. The car is stylish and extremely reliable, has retained excellent resale value and has many attractive features. Its an excellent value, although I probably wouldnt buy another car at any price point.

Fantastic car that has withstood the ultimate test - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Jerry O. - April 2 - 7:32 amFor the first half of this cars life it lived in the frigid , salt covered wastelands of Western New York... For the second half of its life thus far, it has been broiled by the punishing sun and aid sea salt of Florida. The car hasnt skipped a beat thus far! Major repairs have been as follows: The air conditioning compressor died at 84000 miles. At 155,000 miles it got all new struts and springs. New brakes x 3 thus far. At 111,000 miles the right rear door rotted through on the part adjacent to the window - the central pillar; the same has now occurred on the drivers rear side. Ill chalk thus up to the lovely Buffalo winters though Ive heard that cars routinely exposed to road salt have this as a fail point. In both cases a door from a junk yard with matching paint from a rust free area was found and no one can tell that its not the original except me - because I know.... The headlight covers require periodic maintenance with rubbing compound to keep them clear 2 x per month. Annoying but cheaper than replacing. Other than that maintenance and tires only. For the first 8 years I meticulously changed the oil every 3000 miles. After that I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic and now change it at 5000 mile intervals. I hope to get 300,000+ miles before it gets put out to pasture.

2003 Toyota Camry - 2003 Toyota Camry
By buckeye30 - March 22 - 3:43 amMy car just surpassed 150,000 miles today. It has been an extremely dependable, reliable, inexpensive maintenance, and overall a great car for its value. Just do the regular maintenance and Toyota never disappoints you. I commute nearly 100 miles a day, but even though my car is nearly 11 years old, it gives me full confidence to start my day. Power is decent although there is a power lag, but you cant expect more since it is not meant to be a sporty car.

Toyota Buyer for Life - 2003 Toyota Camry
By C Williams - February 5 - 3:50 amThis was my second toyota purchase. The best decision I made. I love my Toyota Camry, my first was a Corolla, I drove it for 186,000 miles. I will continue to drive Toyotas. My parents own the Avalon. It has just enough get up and go, floats, handles the road with ease when traveling. Love the mileage with gas prices rising, overall performance is GREAT!

An excellent car! - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Curric - January 8 - 10:00 amTwo previous cars were 97 Grand Prix and a 99 Chrysler 300m. Enjoyed both of them in spite of little glitches, but my 03 Camry LE (4 cyl., and now with 21000 mi. and 10 months ownership) is possibly the best-built car Ive ever owned - including the 89 V6 Camry I bought new, and which had a tendency to go through front tires, I think due to the added weight of the V6. In these 10 months of ownership have done nothing but routine maintenance, and never back to the dealership at all. Was esitant to buy the 4 cyl. but did on salesmans assurances and have not regretted. "Consumer Reports" mentions the Camrys outstanding 4, and they are right.

Disapointed - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Disappointed 2 - May 30 - 2:00 amThe fuel mileage is great. The power is OK. Plenty of room. I am disappoined with the interior. I have had my Camry since Feb 02 and around 30K the interior body panels have started making snap, crackle, pop noises. I have had back to the dealer 3 times to no satisfaction. I was in a new 2003 with 2500 miles and it does the same thing. Whats up with that??

Pleasure to Drive - 2003 Toyota Camry
By sponger - May 25 - 2:00 amThe combination of the firmer SE suspension and super smooth V6 engine makes the car fun to drive. Although not a racer, the Camry has plenty of power to merge on to freeways, etc. The firmer SE suspension, 4 wheel ABS disk brakes and power steering all work together to differenate the Camry SE from the Camry your Grandma drives.

i drive a lot - 2003 Toyota Camry
By sportsgy37 - April 1 - 10:00 amThis is a tremendous riding, comfortable, quiet car, I have every option toyota has, vehicle stability control is a must, it has saved me twice, it could use more power, and the transmission takes a little getting used to.

Gracie - my Camry - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Connie14K - March 26 - 2:00 amTwo weeks after purchasing my car, it was back at the dealership for a tranmission problem. The transmission was defective, and since my car was manufactured in Japan, they had to order a transmission from Japan - took 3 weeks. After I got my car back, the transmission was better, but I still have some questions about the slight hestitation between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. Also, there is a minor problem with the turn signal lever - it works fine when signalling for a left turn, but when pushing it up for a right turn, it does not hold in that position, I have to "wiggle" it slightly to make it stay up.
