Toyota 2003 Camry - 2003 Toyota Camry
By JoWho - December 27 - 2:00 amIm not very happy with this car. The seatbelt locks up even when brake isnt used, ABS kicks in when not needed, veers to the left even after 6 times at dealership.

2003 Camry SE - 2003 Toyota Camry
By dobelvr - December 21 - 2:00 amA great looking car, but three problems: There is a "thumping" sound in the rear suspension over tiny bumps in the road which is very annoying. The dealer says this is normal for the SE. I must drive quite a distance (over 2 miles) before the transmission will shift into overdrive in extreme cold condtions. The starter makes a "zipping" sound when starting in extreme cold conditions.

Not that Great - 2003 Toyota Camry
By curt123 - December 2 - 2:00 amDriven many Camrys and this one is no different. Terrible exterior styling. Mushy Brakes and Steering. Great Headroom, strange dash. Poor choice of materials on the doors(felt?) This is a Toyota Buick. This one stalled many times. ONe word SOUL, this car has none. After getting back from our trip driving this car. My 1995 Buick Riv was so nice, better power, ride, style, brakes, handling, everything.

Im not that old, honest... - 2003 Toyota Camry
By IWasAHondaNut - November 26 - 10:00 amI had my heart set on a new Altima and my wife wanted a new Accord - that all changed when we saw the Camry SE. It really caught us off guard - not at all like we expected. We tested several other cars, but kept going back to the Toyota dealership. Im not sure why people complain about the style - I think its great! The car gets lots of admiring glances at traffic lights - just wish it had a bit more power. I could not justify spending the extra money for the V6. My driving is generally split between city/highway - city driving is good, but highway cruising is what this car excels at. Were very impressed and I think well be Toyota owners for life!

100K and still going. - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Tim Kloth - October 12 - 6:36 amWe bought this car because of its reliability reputation. We bought it new. We just turned 100K miles and have had no major problems. New battery at 3 yrs. New brakes and tires at about 86K miles. Thats it. We still get just over 30 mpg on the highway with one passenger, full trunk and A/C on. The front seats could be more comfortable and we really dont like the throttle-by-wire system. The excessive lag can be dangerous if you are not planning for it. Also, the five speed trans sometimes hunts between 1-2-3 resulting in a sudden downshift with a clunk or an up shift and surge. The readouts for the radio and temp controls are hard to read in sunlight.

Nice Ride - 2003 Toyota Camry
By SUV driver - September 2 - 10:00 amCompared Honda Accord and Camry side by side. Each has exactly the same gadgets, bells and whistles, etc, but ended up choosing the Camry. Honda is a sports car feel and drive, Camry is much more of a luxury car feel and style. although the drive is sporty. 4 cyl power is good, great handling, very responsive. Cant get over all the gadgets they put in the cars nowadays. Gas mileage @ 25-28 mpg, very comfortable feel and ride. Excellent price/value.

So far so good - 2003 Toyota Camry
By SClerch - September 2 - 10:00 amBought it certified used have to say that it beats all the American cars I have driven in the past. Ride quality is very good all around including a very quiet interior at freeway speeds. Probably not the best performer in its class, but more than adequate for everyday driving. Interior is very roomy, especially the rear and trunk areas and the quality of materials used as well as the look is very nice compared to the competition. Sound system sounds very good but the its high placement on the dash needs a little getting used to. Overall, Toyota has put its signature mark of quality they are known for in this car.

Good Value but a Little Disappointed - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Chris Nichols - September 2 - 10:00 amThis was my first "grown-up" car. I loved the car at first sight. However, within one week I noticed that the rear bumper had been repainted and never disclosed to me. My salesman said that there was nothing indicating the car had been repainted. I believe him. Toyota repainted the bumper but nowI have a repainted bumper that is obvious. Also, I have an annoying rattle in the back of the car. I love the car and my whole family owns a toyota of some kind. But I expected better quality for my money.
