  • I almost bought the wrong car - 2003 Toyota Camry
    By -

After 500 miles on a new rental vehicle I realized this is not a highway vehicle. Highway driving is my job and this Camry was all over the road and bouncy at times...must be the little tires. Seating... for long periods of time is uncomfortable. The cruise control position is almost dangerous and hard to operate. Using the center console while driving is dangerous..it is located too far back. The tilt wheel only offered slight differences.

  • What a car! - 2003 Toyota Camry

I just purchased a new 2003 camry for my wife yesterday. It has ABS (just $258!) and Goodyear tires. I did extensive research and test drove Accord, Altima and looked Passat. Camry has roomiest interior and best ride quality, and its nice looking. This is a replacement for my long beloved 93 camry. It has 190000 miles on it and still runs and feels great. Unbelliveable! Camry gives me the most worry free and enjoyable ownership.

  • Great Car - 2003 Toyota Camry

I just purchased 03 Camry SE and I love every thing about it. Although it could use more hp in 4 cyl engine, like Altima (175 hp), engine is very refined and quiet. Its a bit rough ride than the regular Camry due to its sport suspension but overall, its very well built and I can count on its reliability.

  • Out the door under 20K - 2003 Toyota Camry

I wanted a nice car under 20K and I found it. The 2003 Camry LE. I upgraded to the ABS Brakes and side/curtain airbags. Total price was $19300 at Roseville Toyota. Nice ride, quiet 4 Cylinder Engine. Very comfortable seats with great leg and headroom. Muffler hangs low under the car, you really notice this when you follow a camry. Ugly ... My only real complaint about the car is that it seems to vibrate a little when you are stopped at a light and the transmission is in drive. Put it in park and it is fine. Dont know if this is a common thing with the 4 banger.

  • Still the best! - 2003 Toyota Camry

  • Camry beats all others - 2003 Toyota Camry

No my Camry is not exciting to drive or very fast. It is however VERY reliable. I have owned 4 Camrys and am able to put 200,000 on each one with no major problems. My present Camry I bought used with 80,000 miles I now have 203,000 miles and only replaced the gas cap!!! Do not be tempted to the dark side (Ford, Dodge or Chevy) Toyota has best build quality. The 2003 model gets an honest 33 miles per gallon. Mixed driving (500 miles to a tank).
