Reliable - 2003 Toyota Camry
By JRex - June 7 - 12:00 pmI love my Camry. Traded up from a 97 Civic, VERY glad I did. Camry is very plain, but what it lacks in eye appeal it makes up for in the checkbook. Great power for a 4cyl while still getting good (30 mpg) mileage. Wish abs brakes were standard. A perfect family car.

Engine Dissatisfaction - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Charles - June 7 - 12:30 amOverall, Im happy with the performance of this vehicle. One thing that Im not too happy about is the vibration/shaking of the engine when Im stepping on my breaks and slowing down or going in reverse immediately after I turned the engine on. My car is still under warranty and Its been to the dealer several times for this problem. Every time they keep telling me that everything seems to be running OK when it is not. They just dont get it! They dont seem to want to spend the time troubleshooting the problem because it costs them money and they feel that its a waist of time. So, I keep going back hoping that they resolve the problem. Hopefully, I gave you a descent summary of my problem.

Great Car - 2003 Toyota Camry
By lennylg - June 6 - 10:18 amI had a 2003 Camry that my mother bought brand new. Im upset, I totalled the car on ice. It had 95,000 miles on it. I got it with 30,000 miles on it. I never fixed a thing. I so hoped to take it to 200,000 miles.

Almost Six Years Old - Never a Problem - 2003 Toyota Camry
By scott - June 4 - 5:20 amAfter almost 6 years and 90k, this car just keeps going without a single problem. I just get scheduled oil changes and tuneups every 30k miles. Other than new tires around 65k miles, thats been it so far. I bought it for Toyotas reliability and my expectations have been exceeded. I love that it runs on regular gas and gets gas mileage (over 30 mpg at highway speeds). The large trunk and roomy back seats come in handy. I dont know if Ill keep this car for 211k miles like another reviewer, but I am looking forward to another 6 years.

No problems yet - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Jon Allison - May 9 - 8:36 amI purchased used with 25,000 miles and now have 166,000 miles on the car. I routinely get 31-33 mpg traveling at 70-75 mph. I change oil every 4K miles and at 100k had spark plugs, belts and trans fluid changed. At 135K replaced front brake pads and rotors. Only non maintenance issue was at 150k when the air conditioning would not work. The a/c button would flash on and off and the compressor clutch would not engage. I looked at some online posts and found that thea particular AC relay part number had been causing problems and had been replaced. For $55 I plugged in a new relay and AC has worked fine since. Car is still tight and rattle free, love the JBL stereo and huge trunk.

Nice car! - 2003 Toyota Camry
By TM123 - May 4 - 10:00 amIve owned it for about a month. Rides very smoothly. In fact, rides more smoothly than most other cars Ive test driven. The shocks absorb bumps nicely where you dont even notice. Not a super sporty car, but is a solid sedan that should last for years.

2003 Toyota Camry SE w/ VVT-i V6 - 2003 Toyota Camry
By dark_alternative - April 29 - 10:00 amThis is the best car I have bought. The new VVT-i V6 and 5 speed automatic really add to the power and fuel economy. It also has tons of interior room and trunk space.
