From Ford to Toyota - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Me_In_BhamAL - September 4 - 10:00 amRecently switched from SUV to Camry. Was so happy when I test drove the Camry V6 that I traded my SUV within the same month. Am hoping Toyotas reputation proves to be good thing! Was disappointed when dealership had to get my Camry from another dealership and ASSURED me that it was the new 210 hp 03 SE V6 model and when I went to pick it up, it was the 192 hp V6. Was then told by dealer that 210 hp is not available in 03 SE models. Funny how other reviewers on here say they bought the 03 SE V6 model w/210 hp. Lesson here--dont ever trust car salesmen to know what they are selling!!

Great Reliable transportation - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Andy - August 23 - 4:20 pmThis is your 4th year with the Camry and the ownership experience has been totally hassle free; just routine maintenence. The V6 is not that powerful compare to the competition but it has more than enough oomph for my needs.

Disappointing - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Richmond - August 9 - 2:53 pmDisappointing car considering cost; transmission seems confused at times; poor dash layout; mediocre fuel economy; paint chips easily; overall, not much better than my 99 Camry.

Cant beat it! - 2003 Toyota Camry
By TRM - July 29 - 10:00 amExcellent car! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. However, the "TMV" is about $2,000 higher than what I paid for it.

First and Last Toyota - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Bake - July 23 - 10:00 amWhere is that legendary Toyota quality every one talks about. The paint is chipping off this car faster than I can touch it up. The transmission is constantly confused between 45 - 60 mph. The windows, doors, dash etc make loud snap, crackle and pop noises. The brakes feel like they dont engage until the the brake pedal nearly hits the floor. The steering is numb at best. The list goes on. If your dead set on buying an import I recommend you buy a Honda, Nissan or Mazda. Even a Hyundai would be a better choice than a Toyota.

Im buying a What! - 2003 Toyota Camry
By tony-TnT - June 21 - 2:00 amYea, could you believe a 27 year-old bachelor owning a Camry....? My thoughts exactly. But I tell you what, after driving this beautiful Black SE Camry, Ill probably never buy anything else. (other than a lexus). From the looks, the drive, the reputation, and Toyotas established reliability factor, I was sold.(I promise the 1.9% financing had nothing to do with it)

By cgn49 - June 11 - 10:00 amwonderful car; should have been in camrys from the getgo, Purchased my first this past weekend. rides like lexus; quiet as any car ever ridden. Le 4 cylc has surprisingly nice zip to it. Im only sorry that i wasted so much time and money staying with Ford garbage for so long(Taurus)

Good car albeit a little steep in price - 2003 Toyota Camry
By L Hill - June 11 - 10:00 amI bought the 2002 LE model. Its was kind of pricey compared to some of its competitors, however this is more a function of market timing as in the recent months there have been better incentives offered mainly with the list of standard features like power drivers seat and power locks (I paid extra for) growing over previous years. Overall, good quality as with the first year of a model there are squeaks and rattles that need refinement. Handles well though especially on the interstate with good pickup.
