I recomend to try test drive this Car - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Alex Naroditskiy - December 9 - 2:00 amThis is incredible vehicle. I have lot of fun to drive it and gas mileage is not that bad for 8 cyl car, if some people concern about gas prices everything I can tell, Toyota Echo is still available for gas savers. Engine and power train was tested on Land Cruiser and Sequoia And proved itself very good.

2004 Toyota 4-runner - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By dms1591 - December 3 - 2:00 amThere are only a couple of minor issues that I wish were different. The rear view mirror is too close to the roof for easy adjustment. The stereo system is a little less than desireable...sound quality. Otherwise, we love this vehicle in every aspect.

By Jim Kunkle - October 31 - 3:33 amA little over priced when I bought it. Fuel Economy is not one of it long suits! It is fun to drive.

They keep getting better - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By desmo - October 21 - 2:00 amThis is my 4th (one of each generation). Cudos to the 4Runner engineers who find ways to improve upon this great vehicle. Not yet tested the offroad capabilities but if its anything like my 1999 Sport (at 10k+ feet ;), I will be happy.

You really do get what you pay for(alot) - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By ewelch - June 10 - 2:00 amI originally intended on purchasing a new Trailblazer but was scared off by its current lack of reliability. Final choice was between 4runner and the Honda Pilot. For me, the only catagory won by the Pilot was interior space and that wasnt enough. Absolutely love the smooth, quiet ride of this vehicle! Power is effortless and surprising for a vehicle over 2 tons. While it took a little while adapting to the climate control system, the optional JBL stereo system is definitly worth the money. 4x4 ability is excellent with the exception of front and rear overhangs and side clearance.

Remain Optimistic - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Chiromedic - April 17 - 10:00 am1- The Vehicle is very nice; looks great, drives very nicely, and quiet for the most part. 2- I have had it for less than a month now, but do enjoy it tremendously. From weeks of research, I found out that you cant go wrong with a Toyota, only with the dealership.

V8 4X4 Sport - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By jj8111 - February 2 - 2:00 amI love this truck. Ive had it since December 2003. Already replaced the stock dunlop tires. They are terrible. Good for city/highway driving but they had no bite off road or in the snow.

Satisfied Overall - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By firesire - January 23 - 10:00 amVehicle feels very well balanced in turns and grades. Overall good quality. I may be somewhat biased because i have owned an 87 runner with over 300,000 miles with only 1 unexpected break down. This 04 runner has enough power for my needs.

Tunnel Vision - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By aquadog - November 21 - 10:00 amThe dashboard instrument cluster is like looking into a tunnel and very hard to focus on the dials. The clock is part of th climate control and is very difficult to see in bright light. The back door needs to have a remote latch in the drivers area instead of using your key lock. The mirror needs to have a light, all ladies look for this option. Other than the mentioned deficiencies the truck is great.
