  • This truck simply rocks - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I really love this truck. The Toyota build quality is simply second to none, it is a solid feeling SUV that (to me) feels and drives so much better than any of the competitors. Yah I pd more for a Toy than I would for a Blazer or an Explorer but I feel I got so much more in quality and features like the high tech Vehicle Skid COntrol (VSC) a tchnology that I didnt see in any of the other SUVs in this class/price range. Why on earth would you buy any of those others.

  • More Than Happy - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I am very pleased with my decision to purchase this vehicle. From the moment I closed the door for the test drive - I caould tell that it was more solid than the other mid-size SUVs I had diven. The sporty look gives some style other than many of the boxes out there. The pick up is great, good gas milage, and very comfortable. Also, very easy to put down rear seats.

  • Who says an SUV cant get great mileage? - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I have owned nothing but Toyota for over 20 years and they just keep getting better. This is the third 4 Runner that I have owned. Im all for American, but first of all, most Toyotas have American parts or are made in America. Also, when American car makers start making them as reliable as Toyota, I may change.

  • Nice car - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

The major selling points for this car are the V8 and the new exterior styling. The car handles well but is somewhat sluggish on acceleration. Interior amenities are superb. I wanted a Sport Edition but had to get a Limited in order to get the nav/backup camera option. I was also disappointed that I could not get a CD changer with the nav system.

1- The Vehicle is very nice; looks great, drives very nicely, and quiet for the most part. 2- I have had it for less than a month now, but do enjoy it tremendously. From weeks of research, I found out that you cant go wrong with a Toyota, only with the dealership.

The ride is really comfortable compared to the Ford Explorer (which is what I traded in)

  • The Best in 35 Years - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

Third 4 Runner, Last was a 2000. Have owened 4x4s since 1969. This by far the best engineered and best built car of it type I have ever owned. Interior: Bucket seats are excellent.Added sheepshin covers to releive the heat/cold of leather seats. Controls are easy to see and operate. (The Inst. Manuel at 401 pages, well...) The A/C is good, not excellent. The CD player is hard to operate if Area Nav is installed. A plus is the mini cam in the rear. Paking it much easier adds to safty as you can see see that no child is behind you. Forward visability is excellent. Rearward is poor. Without the mini TV, backing up would be an adventure and dangerous.

  • Great For An SUV - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I wasnt really sold on the design of the 4 Runner until I drove it. I test drove every mid-size SUV on the market, this was by far the best. It has good acceleration (for an SUV) and it handles really well. I have taken it off road several times, and it handles everything. Its a really solid truck.

  • Excellent choice! - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

Excellent sport utility with towing package as standard equipment! Strong engine, above average acceleration and an excellent reputation as well as resale value.
