Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF, SO GET ONE - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By BLAXOUT - September 8 - 10:00 amWELL LETS START BY SAYING THAT JEEP DELIVERED EVERYTHING IT PROMISED AND THEN SOME WITH THE RUBICON. ITS NICE TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE AN OVERBUILT MACHINE READY TO TAKE ON A VARIETY OF ON-ROAD AND OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS. JEEP ALSO HAS A TON OF AFTERMARKET SUPPORT SO INCREASING THE CARGO PROBLEM VIA A HITCH CARGO BOX OR ROOF RACK WILL HUSH UP MY LOVELY WIFE WHO HATES IT. OVERALL I CANT BELIEVE THAT THEY BUILT THIS CUSTOM FAB MACHINE,SOMEONE OVER AT JEEP FINALLY GOT THE LAWYERS AND ACCOUNTANTS TO TAKE THE HANDCUFFS OFF THE ENGINEERS HOPEFULLY OTHER COMPANYS WILL FOLLOW SUIT...BUT IT WONT BE A JEEP BUY THE ICON YOU WONT BE SORRY.

jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By mime - September 8 - 10:00 amI have found that my Jeep Wrangler is a go anywhere I want to go Vehicle. IN the eight years that I have owned my Jeep It has done everything I wanted it to do. I have Rechievecd three quarter ton exten cab pick -ups from the bottom of 4x4 trails to winching other jeeps off logs and out of seven foot deep ditches. I find it quite manuverable with plenty of power to spare.

Its a Jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By X-man - August 23 - 9:43 pmBought used in 2008 with 66000 miles. Had my X for over 2 years now and never a problem. My wife says it rides rough but its a Jeep. Cant think of anything more fun to drive than a Jeep Wrangler X with the top down, except in a rain storm (had that happen) and here in Texas its often too hot to keep the top down. This is my first Jeep and its a great vehicle! Id recommend a Wrangler X to anyone who wants to have fun while driving, you wont be disappointed!

love it - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By wvjeeper - August 21 - 10:00 amThis is my third jeep(cj then yj then tj) and they keep getting better. The ride is much improved and it is much quieter. Some people who complain about that are in the wrong vehicle-it is a rugged off-road vehicle after all. Of course the mileage is not great- no real 4-wheel drive vehicle gets high mileage. There is nothing like the wrangler on the road today. If you want a unique and fun vehicle, this is it.

You get it all in the Rubicon - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By DAC - June 13 - 12:20 amI traded a Wrangler Sport for my Rubicon. I found that the Rubicon would go where the Sport would only try to go ...without adding a lift, tires, and lockers. This Rubicon is simply a better stock Jeep. It has the same great features as the Sport such as the covertible top, ease in parking, and fun driving. In addition, I found that it will go off- road where the Sport could only dream of going with the Rubicons stock front and rear lockers, 16 wheel set, and the additional lift to accomodate the 31 wheels. This Rubicon is truly the Jeep that I would expect all Jeeps to be.

Have fun while driving - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By TBONE - May 20 - 5:30 amI have had this car for about 3 1/2 years now and I have not had any major problems. Very reliable and rugged vehicle. Excellent in the snow, dirt, mud. The rugged tires will get you out of any situation. Jump curbs, logs, boulders. Anything! Basically as far as off road capability you couldnt ask for anything more. The jeep is not a very great in the highway. Its noisy, rough ride (you will feel every bump), and will cost you a lot in gas. (be prepared for that)

great jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By jeepowner - April 19 - 4:33 pmI have had this Jeep for 1 1/2 years. So far I love it. It is great in the mud or snow and I dont even have a lift on it. It is marginal at interstate speeds. Rough riding but that is expected. You learn to love it. The worst part is that the engine is underpowered. I added a Banks Cold Air Intake and that helped out a lot. I hope to put a cat-back exhaust system on soon. Great fun in the summer with the top and doors off.

Love the Jeep Wrangler - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By jeep boy - December 20 - 2:00 amI love this vehicle. I just "downgraded" from a Ford F150 that I owned for six years. The F150 was huge, safe, and had tons of cargo space. The Jeep is a huge improvement. Better seats that support my back, easy to park, convertible, corners without throwing things around the cabin, stops more easily, and still has tons of torque and power. What it lacks in practicality, it makes up for in its near-motorcycle fun factor without the requisite organ donation.

Jeep X - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By cernuto - December 9 - 10:00 amI am very satisfied with the performance of the Wrangler. It is certainly a Spartan vehicle and is designed with the intention of off highway usuage. However I would not recommend it as the primary mode of transportation for someone who routinely travels more than 50 miles from home.
