Overview & Reviews
The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design with mediocre materials.

An awesome SUV - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By matt - December 19 - 6:43 amThe 4.2 inline six has great power and torque. The outside lines are easy to clean, and the interior is greatly designed, resulting in an all around little mommy vehicle.

Just Love It - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Tom Wright - September 23 - 9:13 pmThis is a very good riding, handling and quiet vehicle. On a long trip of 2000+ miles, we found the drive very enjoyable with its comfort and all the extras like DVD player, GPS, Satelite radio, leather, etc. We got 21 MPG on the highway. City driving we are gettng aroudt 15 MPG. Plenty of room for luggage, golf clubs, cooler and misc. items.

Trailblazer! - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By HoganRadial - December 4 - 2:43 pmOnly have a 1000 miles on it, but boy its a nice ride so far. Really like the traction control/AWD/limited-4wd feature on the 4wd, perfect for those days the roads have scattered slippery spots, but not bad enough to use the full 4wd part. Very nice riding for a large SUV. The Vortec 4200 has plenty of power to get up & go.

Great SUV for all ages - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By brut - November 21 - 1:06 pmI received a Trailblazer for my graduation present and I have had it for almost a year now. I have no complaints whatsoever except the interior. Chevy does need to step up their interiors and make the inside just as nice as the outside appears.

good buy - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By blazer - September 17 - 5:50 amI love this car. Traded in a 1997 4runner. The Trailblazer rides better, handles better, and has more power than the new Explorer and 4runner. I highly recommend the LT package. The automatic climate control is awesome. The locking rear differential is a good deal for only $300 dollars extra.

New SUV Owner - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Tim Brankin - August 2 - 9:23 pmWe purchased a fully loaded Trailblazer. Fuel ratings are off from what we are experiencing we have only made it to a high of 14mpg. The interior is nice, but the design of the drop down DVD unit is flawed due to the rear seating headrest; it is obstructing the rear window view. Power is excellent, Handling is good and overall we are happy with the choice.

My Trailblazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By David Jackson - June 28 - 9:30 pmI have owned 9 Suburbans and still have a 2002 and decided to down size alittle to a Trailblazer. After test driving 3 different models we decided on a LT 4WD and we are very pleased with the performance. The turning radius and shorter wheel base is excellent for parking. The L6 engine has plenty of get up and go. The suspension has been improved and rides very smoothly for a short wheel base vehicle. The Sirius radio /Bose sound system and OnStar phone are 2 options I have never had in the past, but are great options that we are enjoying very much, and will continue to purchase after the initial free trial period expires.
