Overview & Reviews
The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design with mediocre materials.

Second Time Around - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Second Time Around - February 6 - 10:33 pmI leased my first Trailblazer in 2001 and I liked it so much when my lease was up I decided to re-lease the 2005 LS Trailblazer. I noticed some features and bugs have been worked out. Tail lights actually work in my 2005 and my 12v plug is missing in my 2005 to blow up my bike tires. All in all I like the overall feel of the steering, drive, and pick up of the Trailblazer. The LS is just as nice as the LT without the bells and whisles. The sun, sound, and safety package is great! My friends own the Durango, and Explorer and wish their family worked for GM instead. Thank you for such a great automobile and hope GM keeps going in the right direction!

x - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By jp - November 24 - 10:10 pmThe vehicle stop running the first day at only 29m and had to be towed. Problem with the heated mirrors, the 4X4 system, the engine makes funny noises, all kind of little problems you should not expect before 4-5 years are there after only a few months. Very poor service at the dealer.

I love my Chevy Trailbalzer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Debra - September 8 - 2:23 pmI really like the way my Trailblazer rides and it has handled very well on the snow and ice we have had this year. It is really roomy. I dont think I could ever go back and own a car again...

2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By PR Domena - June 27 - 10:00 amAwesome detail on this new Trailblazer - inside and out. Several new bow ties in the design - all tastefully done in the new gold. Added chrome touches to the interior add a touch of class. The new gear shift is easier to use and looks great too. Smoother ride with larger tires this year - seating comfort is great with leg support for the driver all the way to the back of the knee.

My Opinion - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Elle - May 13 - 5:13 pmI love my Trailblazer. Its very dependable and practical for my family of 5. Great for family outings, including towing our boat. After totalling my last Blazer on black ice and walking away unscathed, I wouldnt own anything else!

Mamas got a new Car!! - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By 2004 Trailblazer - April 27 - 6:13 amI received my Chevy Trailblazer for Christmas in 2004, and I love it. I was driving a Mitisubishi Montero Sport and I thought I was in love with it, but when I drove the Trailblazer to the end of the road, I knew this was my destiny. I love it. I love it. I love it. When I drive it, I feel like I am sitting on top of the world. It is great. I named it "Blaze"

04 Trailblazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By k91reddog - April 16 - 1:16 amGreat in snow. Automatic 4WD kicks in just when needed and makes it very easy to drive in bad weather. Very smooth ride on all terrain. Rear audio and climate controls are helpful with rear passengers.

Has everything but fuel economy - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By owner - October 18 - 10:00 amTrailblazer is a great SUV with a good list of standard features. We like that it sits up high just like the more truck like Tahoe, but the TB handles more like a car. We have the optional sun and sound package. With the sunroof, a bit more headroom would be nice
