Overview & Reviews
The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design with mediocre materials.

By fastfreddy - August 8 - 7:26 amThis is the nicest and most powerful SUV, I have owned. The only one I would recommend above it is the Chevey Tahoe.

Trailblazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By BabyRanger - July 29 - 6:46 amSo far, My Trailblazer has been great. I love the way it rides, accelerates, and handles. Its very quiet inside, has plenty of room, the seats are comfortable, and its easy to maneuver in traffic. The takeoff power is awesome. It will get up and go.

05 Trailblazer EXT - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Boldenwh - February 20 - 2:36 pmCheaper alternative to imports and even GMC siblings. Dull power off the line, but gets going in mid tach range. Great discounts can be found as well. This vehicle rates high if you can pick up a loaded one for less than $26K.

My Trailblazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By MickV - December 27 - 5:23 pmI first discovered a Trailblazer, at a Hurst Rental Lot...On a test drive it showed, ease of handling, plenty of power, very confortable ride..and a secure feeling. Was very inpressed, my wife also drove it and she is smaller in stature, and enjoyed driving it, so off to the New Car dealership to purchase one We put 2000 miles on it at delivery to Oregon, and it was a very confortable ride at extended periods of driving..even with our 4x4 . Adequate power over the mountain pass,18 MPG overall average. Only thing is the shorter version on our test drive showed the ride not as smooth and confortable as the LT version..so our decision to get the extended version.

Cant stay out of it - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By rich - October 31 - 1:50 amWe purchased this truck with the intenions of using it as a truck, but cant seem to keep the wife from driving it everywhere we go. This SUV is is quite the experience of good driving and relaxing interior. I just hope that the police understand when she gets pulled over because of the smooth ride that it has at highway speeds! I would buy another one. Overall it is the best deal for the money and comfort. Thank you GM

Not Too Excited Over This One - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By DC - May 15 - 6:23 amPoor design for console cup holders. Cheap design to hold headliner up around sunroof. Owned this vehicle since March 11th and already having issues. More money needs to be spent on better materials for interior and less on computerized options that arent used very frequently.

funfunfun - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By steveh1354 - March 21 - 10:00 amI purchased the LT model in June of 2004 and am very happy with the way this vehicle drives, very smooth and great vision of the road. Strong engine.Anyone interested in the video entertainment option should really shop around. the dealer wanted 1800 or so for a base setup and I purchased a nice sharp set up installed for 1000.

Very pleased in san diego - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By maxie - March 21 - 10:00 amI bought my Trailblazer on Jan 1, 2004. I drive it extensively, and haul a 23 foot boat with it. The only complaint I have to date is when approaching a stop while going downhill, when I brake it seems to skip, maybe even a tiny bounce to it. Turns on a dime, normally (other than what was already mentioned) brakes well, corners well, although does feel a touch top heavy. Mileage could be better, averaging in the 17 mpg range. Honestly, really enjoy it. Never had any car that was perfect, but this one I enjoy driving. Would recommend it.
