The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).

Great buy - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By tigerfan - December 13 - 7:34 amI have the 2005 LT 4x4 regular wheelbase with the amazing 4.2L 291hp six. This car is underated by many consumer magazines. This is still the most powerful 6 cylinder SUV you can get. V8 power, 6 cylinder fuel efficiency. I pulled a 5500 pound trailer last month about 400 miles, and the Trailblazer took it with ease. It can also pull my two ATVs to the camp and back through moderate off road conditions with no problem, thanks to the automatic four wheel drive. After 11,000 miles, I find that my highway mileage is around 23, city mileage is as low as 17. Seats are comfortable, and the new updated interior has better trim materials than before, but it is still a little odd looking.

By tinetine - December 9 - 2:00 pmfirst rented this vehicle by accident, was supposed to get another model. after a trip a thousand miles away, this vehicle was comfortable, roomy and very smooth riding, I told my husband that when i got ready to purchase another vehicle that a Chevy trailblazer was going to be that vehicle. 3 months later I am the proud owner of a Chevy trailbalzer and I love it!

After 3 weeks, I am very pleased with my choice....inline 6 cyl. runs like a dream, whisper quiet, with similar gas mileage to the much less powerful V6 in my Rodeo. Interior appears simple and functional and attractive to me...exterior looks great and turns heads. Biggest sell is plenty of interior room for 62" 225 lbs. driver!

More than I expected - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By tcob - November 28 - 10:00 amThe Trail Blazer has turned out to be a more enjoyable vehicle than I expected. Comfort and handling have been excellent. Averaging 18.1 miles per gallon has been another unexpected pleasure. Seats are comfortable for short and long trips. Stereo is more than adequate, clear with virtually no distortion with CDs. Controls are easy to operate and somewhat intuitive. I enjoy the ride.

Fine Truck - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Dan L - November 13 - 2:53 amIf youre tall and are tired of not fitting into anything, the Trailblazer is a godsend. At 65", I fit perfectly. My knees dont hit the dash or the steering wheel. Drives very smooth and quietly, handles better than the original review states. Plus its more attractive than the competitors.

Poor gas mileage - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By larry - October 13 - 9:44 pmOverall ratings for my Trailblazer are poor. Gas mileage is horrible. Only getting 11.9 miles to the gallon. Uncomfortable seatbelts mounted into the seat makes it difficult if you arent the perfect build. Noted headliner falls down leaks water onto the pass side floor from unknown source.

By Suzie - October 7 - 12:34 pmI went from an xterra to my Blazer, and I love the comfortable and quiet ride. It is so smooth, you hear no outside noises! I like the bigger size, I had an older Blazer 1995 and I loved it also, but more room is great!

Early but happy - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By jughead - August 30 - 11:42 pmOnly 3 weeks into my new LS but all indications are excellent. Love the ride despite some reviews of mushy cornering. I dont take corners at 75 mph so its fine by me. Interior is just fine, easy to use and reach controls, simple and straight forward. Looks great on the road with planty of power. Hard to pass up with the GM family discount and rebate for just over 24k OTD. Overall I am very happy with it, so far.
