  • My Mini-van - 2000 Toyota Sienna

I love this car! It is so versitle, pretty on the outside and inside. It is great on long road trips. The seats are easy to remove for hauling things. I have never regretted this purchase and will in all likelyhood get another one day. For a larger vehicle, the mileage is outstanding.

  • Excellent family TAXI - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

My Family TAXI. She came in to the family at the same time as my twins... she has held up with the mistreatment of the baby years, the toddler years of abuse going on to the abuse of two little 6 year energizer bunnies that use the van as their alternate toy chest, sleeping bed, fighting ring, fast food table, after the beach resting area, camping house, immagenary treasure hunt cave, space ship and who knows what else... but she keep on running and keeping my two precious gems and my Queen safe and my pockets free of mechanics hand picking. She just askes for regular maintenance and thats it.. exception, a small Power Steering oil leak that I will attend to asap.. plan to have her for at 15 ys

  • 202,000 miles and going strong! - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I would have loved to have given it 10s across the board, but it is a minivan! I bought this van from the original owner just over six years ago with 65,000 miles. He was very meticulous with maintenance as am I, and it has really paid off. In my time of ownership I have just done my second timing belt, a new battery, starter, brakes, tires, struts, and wheel bearings. All a reasonable amount of work for 200k, and all preventative. Nothing has ever actually broke on it! The catalytic converter is starting to go finally, and will be $650 to replace when it does. I will happily pay this, as the van still runs as smooth as the day I bought it!

  • Toyota Quality/Reliability??? - 2000 Toyota Sienna

My transmission went on my 2000 Sienna at 36,400 miles. Poor reliability and horrible customer service. I will never buy another Toyota again!

  • Well built - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I bought my sienna in 2005 with 75K; 7 years later it now has 160K and is still running strong. In my opinion the sienna is rather homely when compared to other minivans, however it makes up for this with its excellent built quality and reliability. I have never had any problems with this van is the seven years that I owned it. It has excellent build quality both under the hood as well as in the body (very sturdy). It is not very fun to drive but I have yet to find a minivan that is. The sienna does have an excellent ride both on the highway as well as in the city. I am amazed at how well it has held up over the years.

  • Typical Toyota Dependability - 2000 Toyota Sienna

This is an excellent family vehicle. The only real problems are the weak brakes, rattle in the rear (found in plastic panels and fixed with foam tape), and confusing accessory controls on steering wheel. Small price to pay for unequaled dependability and family safety.

  • The Best!!! - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

The Toyota Sienna is the best, and most reliable vehicle we have ever encountered! We have never had any problems with it, exept for a broken seatbelt once. My sister had a Ford Aerostar, and it was a piece of JUNK! IT CAUGHT ON FIRE, AC WENT OUT, AND TRANSMISSION WAS SHOT JUST 10K AFTER SHE BOUGHT IT! Also it wasnt just her AEROSTAR THAT HAD PROBLEMS, FRIENDS DID TOO! If I were you I wouldnt buy an American car, because to be honest, they dont compare to Japanese or European cars! ALSO, I DONT THINK THE ONE WHOS SAYING ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THE SIENNA IS TELLING THE WHOLE TRUTH!!!!!!

  • Great Car - 2000 Toyota Sienna

I have not had one single problem with my minvan in the 4 years and 74,000 miles I have driven it. Drives great even up to 80-90mph. Dependability has been awesome. As a girls soccer coach, this van has been perfect for hauling around players to games and tournaments.

  • A Big Disappointment - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We have been loyal Toyota buyers, but no more! Our Sienna has been a real disappointment. The engine is holding up well, but the interior and exterior is falling apart. When a penny size toy hit the window while the kids were playing the window shattered to pieces. My five year old was able to rip the handle right off the door while trying to open the door. The air conditioner vents have fallen off. And, the list goes on.

  • Squeeky - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We love this van except for the squeeky brakes ,we have taken it back to the dealer numbers of times ,but they say they are OK.The cruise control tends to accelerate to much. Power door is touchy.
