Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Nissan Sentra is completely redesigned. The sixth generation of the popular economy sedan offers a new engine, more interior room and additional comfort and convenience features. The sporty Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V versions return midyear as well.
- Attractive cabin design with quality materials, generous interior room front and rear, quiet highway ride, quick acceleration on SE-R Spec V.

A little short of great - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Dubs - December 27 - 1:26 amThe car is good, and just comes up short on a couple things. I would have liked the Sentra to have the same push-button as the Altima. Also, it doesnt have daytime running lights, which is a standard feature in Canada. Hmm... anyway, the CVT is nice, but not for those who crave performance. The bluetooth works well, and I hate plastic rims, so the 16" aluminum-alloy option is a must. The Rockford system is nice, but my rear-plastic rattles a little, nothing a little dynamite wont fix though. Dont read too much into my complaints, overall Im happy with my new Sentra and I expect there to be some shortcomings in a value-priced car. Look at the SE-R for some more power.

The "Sleeper" for 2007 - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Jimmy - December 15 - 4:43 pmI wanted to get a fuel efficient vehicle before the gas prices shoot up again, which will probably be in 2007. Before I actually purchased my Sentra, I looked at all the competitive models including the Corolla. The Sentra offers far more features than any of the other cars and is still in the same price range. My gas mileage is 26.6 in the city 37.1 freeway. It is easy to park and fun to drive. And having to live and commute in California, that says a lot.

Bad alignment, already has other issues - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Joe - October 24 - 3:33 pmWe bought a Sentra with positive expectations but we were let down. 1. The gas mileage is nowhere near what Nissan claimed. For 08 the gov has revised the criteria, but its still optimistic. We have averaged from 20 in the city to 27 highway. I drive to maximize mileage too. 2. The wheel alignment is all over the place. Fresh from the factory, the car was defective. After much trouble Nissan aligned the front, but added way too much caster in an effort to conceal the alignment problem. The rear is still not aligned. I suspect that bad alignment is part of the cause for the bad gas mileage. If you have a Nissan, take it to the dealer and have them check the alignment. I have a lemon!!!

Rear end wanders - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Heathenstar - October 18 - 6:16 amLove the car when road conditions are good. However, in snow, ice, or rain the rear end of the car wanders and is frightening to drive. No solution from dealer yet. Some websites suggest this is a problem with rear end alignment and could be a manufacturing defect.

Great first car, I love it! - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Angela - September 11 - 2:04 pmI got this car for my very first car, and so far Im inlove with it! It drives perfect and is so easy to drive! So far its been very reliable and Iv already put around 500 miles on it, in 2 weeks! I think the only complaint I have is when I look over my shoulder its harder to see because of how the back is, but it hasnt been a problem! I drove 4 hours up to my moms house and I was comfortable the whole time, and so was my dad in the passenger seat! It gets very speedy too! Overall I recommend this car to anyone!

By nice_guy - August 22 - 8:10 pmI bought this car, everything is good with this car. I got a bluetooth and the audio package and the alloy wheels but not a spoiler, It looks simply sexy. I spend more time in my car than in the room.

Love the 6-Speed Manual Transmission - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Jim - June 13 - 8:13 pmI purchased this vehicle about two weeks ago and have already made a couple of highway trips. Significant improvement over my last car! Despite frequently traveling 75-80 mph, road and engine noise is very quiet. A great deal of standard features and the upgraded engine over the 2006 model made this vehicle an easy sell.
