Nice Ride - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Mark - December 31 - 6:10 pmWhat can I say, its a nice ride. I live in NYC and I commute about 100 miles a day and this car is great on the highway but not so much on fuel. Little disappointed there. Fun to drive on the highway, not so much on the NYC streets. The potholes are a killer. No time to enjoy the ride. Too much shifting only to slam on the brakes for red lights and taxi cabs. Takes a little time to warm up. I love the shifting but can be hard at times. Great to drive in the mountains. Stiff ride in the city streets and sometimes to highway. Girlfriend complains of the stiff ride but I dont mind. Look for a car that gets better gas mileage. Look at the SE 2.0 liter. Better ride and gas mileage.

Disappointed - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By SE-R Spec V - December 17 - 9:36 pmI bought a used 04 SE-R Spec V with only 4,000 miles on it. im very disappointed with it. The fuel mileage is average. The first gear is too short and sometimes it is a pain to put it in reverse. The ride is too harsh over little bumps and the suspension is bad. I had front struts replaced after 20K miles and rear twice at 25K and 57K miles. Many little irritating problems like the emergency brake light refuses to go off, it comes with stock summer only tires, factory speakers not that great, no ABS on a car at this price point is ridiculous. Even KIA offers ABS on their much cheaper models.

great car - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By ymofz - November 28 - 10:00 amI bough the car 3 months ago. I prefered the Sentra over the competition... I dont understand why they are not the top seller. Underestimated maybe? I often hear people saying that Nissan cars are expensive!

Great Little Car - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By figman - October 16 - 10:00 amHad numerous Dodge Neons. This car is quick and also a blast to drive. First tank of gas combination city and highway driving got me 30 mpg. You can hot dog this car off the line and expect good gas mileage. Only complaint need more room in the back seat.

Sometimes she likes me... - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Cam - October 4 - 7:23 amMy sentra likes me...sometimes. Other times the car starts, then rumbles, then all the lights on the dash come on and it turns off. Three mechanics tell me nothing is wrong. It only does it when it feels like it and I dont seem to be able to find any correlation between the times it chooses to do that and the times it doesnt. I know two other people who own the same style and model year nissan and one who owns a 2006 Sentra 1.8s...and all of our cars do the exact same thing. Time for a recall?? Other than that and all the road noise, I love it...really, I do.

2004 nissan sentra - 2004 Nissan Sentra
By Tessa1010 - September 23 - 10:00 amThe car is nice and comfortable to drive. Highway driving is good, limited outside noise when windows are up. Overall its a great car to use in town or drive a long distance to work. Gas miliage is great - this I love. Car hands great and a great front view. It would be sporter load with outside extras like wing and tint.
