Solara four-cylinder models will achieve ultralow emission vehicle (ULEV) status. A convertible version is now offered for topless fun. SLE models get a JBL premium audio system as standard equipment, and an in-dash six-disc CD changer is optional. Two new exterior colors are offered.

  Solid and Stylish - 2000 Toyota Camry Solara

  I bought my Solara SLE V6 used and have put on approximately 4,000 miles. I have no regrets whatsoever. Its solid, comfortable and reasonably stylish. The Toyota build quality is outstanding. At 62,000 miles, the cars still solid as a rock. The V6 provides ample power and the ride is extremely comfortable. So long as you are not expecting BMW responsiveness, you really cant go wrong with this car.

  Put together poor - 2000 Toyota Camry Solara

  I was excited to finally have a toyota that wouldnt be in the shop all the time. I have had the car almost a year and it has had to have the passenger seatbelt replaced, the convertible top replaced, the front calipers replaced, the wheel bearring replaced, the rear speakers replaced. Needless to say the it has been in and out of the shop all year and to make matters worse Toyota nevers gets it completey fixed the first time so you have to keep taking it in, and the wont give you a renta car unless the keep it over night, and the dont they keep it all day and rent it to you and ask you to bring it back another day

  Very well made, very comfortable, the quietest ride of any car ive ever owned. The engine is also quiet, and the interior is well-thought out.
