  • I love my wagon1 - 1994 Toyota Camry

I traded in my 96 4Runner to buy this 94 Camry wagon because the fuel was better and the monthly payment was MUCH better. I thought Id miss my 4Runner, but I was wrong. This Camry is so much fun to drive. The 6 Cyl. engine is so zippy in the wagon compared to the bulky 4Runner. And I havent sacrificed any cargo space, the wagon still accomodates a large load. I bought it from a small used car dealership and it had been well maintained and only had 81,000 miles. I look forward to putting another 2 or 3 hundred thousand. I have read that the 6-cyl. engine in this model is one of the best engines ever made.

This has been a great car. My husband and I travel a lot and we have been so blessed by the reliability of this car. We are so thankful. We have driven it in a lot of different conditions and it has handled well. Our car has over 208,000 miles and its still kicking. We hope to have it for another 100,000.

Purchased vehicle used from an independant dlr in 1996. Vehicle has been extremely reliable. No major repairs required just normal mainteance items, tires, battery, brakes, timing belt, etc. Very economical car to own & operate. 125K miles on odometer - still driving it.

The aboslute comfort, ease of handling and quietness of this vehicle makes it one of the most relaxing to drive. After 10 years of driving this vehicle it has not once let me down, started every morning and has always taken me where I wanted to go and brought me back. Whenever I get into this vehicle it is as much a joy and pleasant experience to drive as it was the day I first got it. Toyota servicng is, off course, supreme!

After 11 years and 102,000 miles, the engine is still shiny. No leaks or emissions of any kind. Just replaced the starter -- the first mechanical problem weve had except for the antenna retracting mechanism.

  • Well, it is 15 years old - 1994 Toyota Camry

I got my Camry w/low mileage in 2002, & currently it has 117,000 mi. After just replacing cv jt, the starter went out. I knew it was leaking a little oil & power steering fluid--but it turns out I shouldve had those checked first. Water pump, timing belt, entire power steering system, & valve cover gasket all on their way out. I dont expect even a Toyota to run forever, but this is at 117,000 mi. I dont skip oil changes, & am not that hard on cars--tho I didnt realize how serious a pwr steering leak can be. Overall its been pretty reliable--just hate its all going at once. Im trying Honda next.

I bought this car in August of 2001. Already, this car has been plagued with problems. Ive had to replace a CV boot, the leather stitching is coming undone, it thumps around turns, the interior rips or snaps while installing aftermarket speakers, the paint peels off on the hubs, and burns oil like the taliban to the American flag. I will have to sell it soon, because it fails emissions.
