  • Best car Ive ever owned - 1994 Toyota Camry
    By -

Except for maintenance items (battery, new brakes, timing chain, etc) I have put nothing into this car. It has never let me down. I would love to keep it forever. The V-6 is a bit of a gas hog and does not have "pin you back in your seat" acceleration, but is fun to drive.

  • Is it the car or is it the tires? - 1994 Toyota Camry
    By -

I love my 94 Toyota except that I cant drive it in the snow and have to be careful when coming to a stop in the rain. I am having new tires put on my car tomorrow 1/11/17. I went to Costco and Sams Club to buy tires for it and they dont carry them. The only place locally that I could find tires to be put on the same day was Walmart. The tires are Goodyear Viva and I am hoping that my problem is the Viva tires by Goodyear. They are in very good condition but I am afraid to drive it in the snow as it slides very easily and I have to be careful when coming to a stop sign when its raining as my car has slid across the road when I tried to stop. If a car had been coming, I would have hit it and it would of been my fault. I am not a fast driver so I am hoping its the tires. Has anyone else had a problem driving in the rain or snow with a 94 Camry LE 4 cylinder? I have 187K miles on my car and it doesnt burn any oil. I bought it in 2005 from the original owner. I am retired and live in Pa. and it snows every winter so I need sometimes to go out when it snows and not be afraid. Hopefully, the General Alti Max 43 tires that will be put on tomorrow (recommended by a Toyota dealer) will take care of my problem.

  • GOOD CAR POOR WORKMANSHIP - 1994 Toyota Camry
    By -

I bought the car new in 1994 and while it was under warranty three power windows broke and oxidation on the side mirrors (paint) were replaced.I also replaced all four GOODYEAR tires before 30000 miles due to cracks in tires that could not be fixed. Also had two handles that broke off on the inside. After the warranty was up two more windows dropped at a cost of 313.00 each.

  • Very Reliable, Excellent Quality - 1994 Toyota Camry

As far as quality goes this car rates a 20. When I bought my 94 Camry I first thought it was a 97 or 98 from the looks of the interior. I know cars and this car is solid. No parts falling apart or ripping seats like others in its class. Only repairs I have had to do were fix the rear struts and a small oil leak so far. I also replaced the timing belt which made the car brand new. Keep up with oil changes and tune ups and this car will drive forever.

  • Great Car but easy to be stolen - 1994 Toyota Camry

My car was a great car in all ways. unfortunately My 1994 green toyota Camry le V6 was stolen this Wednesday in Inglewood, CA. if you really want one of these cars you better install an state of the art alarm and electronic locater. I hope the police will find it.

  • Gone but not forgotten - 1994 Toyota Camry

Bought with 19,000 in 95. My wife then I drove this car until last week. Gave to 16 year old daughter and she totalled (not hurt)this week. Had 198,000 miles and drove and rode better than my 2000 & 2001 Camrys. Only regular maintenance timing belt oil and tires till replacement of distributer at 190,000 (stalling problem like previous reviewer). I miss this car.

  • Thanks Toyota! - 1994 Toyota Camry

I bought my wagon used from a private party and am extremely happy I did. With 5 kids its hard to find something to fit our family, but this does, love the mileage it gets. I also love the fact that as long as you change the oil and tune it up when needed itll last forever! I will be sad the day it finally dies, but for now Id take this car across the country if I had to, I trust it more than our other car thats a 99, other than the usual brakes and exaust work occasionally, I havent had to do anything major. If I could find another one Id buy it again.

  • On my 2nd Camry - 1994 Toyota Camry
    By -

I bought this car before my 17th birthday just after we sold my old car (which was a 1989 Toyota Camry with 200k+ miles). Anyway, I simply fell in love with this car. Ive had it for over 5 months now, and I couldnt be happier. 1 brake job and one oil change is all that had to be done up to this point. I plan on taking this Camry to 200,000 just like the old one.

  • Excellent Quality and Reliability! - 1994 Toyota Camry

This car is driven daily for the last 9 years and it is still running like new. I have changed the tires twice and a battery once as part of normal wear.
