Terrible Car - Buyer beware!! - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By ward - January 26 - 3:26 pmI have had more problems with this car than my Hyundai. after 1 year (4/06) I had to have a brand new engine .. since then the car goes to the dealer every few months because it just wont start. im given numerous reasons about why it just dies they say they fix it and then it dies again .. my 2 year old car is at the shop TODAY! I tell everyone I meet dont buy this car. not to mention the other problems (my cd got stuck in the cd player and now it wont work .. if you use the cup holder it will always change the cd in play .. sound from the brakes) the list goes on and on. get ready for a fight with Nissan Corp if you complain!!

Great Car to Own - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By David - November 9 - 9:40 amWhen I purchased this car I was not looking for anything specific. The great gas mileage caught my eye and after seeing the 300W stereo I was sold. I drive my car mostly around the city but have taken many trips out of town. It handles great on corners and has good acceleration for the engine size. The seats are very comfortable but the back seat could use a little more room. Overall the car is a little smaller than other 4 door sedans. For the price and the included features I thinks its the best value you can get.

Ignore the cup holders. - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By A Bryden - October 6 - 2:33 pmI bought my Sentra after owning a feisty 99 Cougar. Lets just say that this is a welcome change. I decided on the Sentra because of the superior gas mileage, and after test driving the Civic and Corolla, I decided this was the best buy for my taste, as well as having the most horsepower out of the three base models. I have had only one problem with mine so far; one of the belts came off because a bolt was not tight enough. However, it was easy to fix. I have the 1.8 S Special Edition, which comes with a Rockford Fosgate soundsystem (and subwoofer). I love it; probably my favorite feature on the car. This car is very reliable and wonderful on the highway.

Its...decent? - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By rhiamichelle - September 20 - 3:53 amI bought this car used with 70,000 miles on it. About 2 weeks after I got it, my service engine light came on. Nothing happened for months. Around month 5 the CD player wont spit my CD out, & wont suck them in. After about 6 months, my car started randomly dying while I was doing 70 on freeways, which was a big inconvenience since I drive around 60 miles on the highway a day. Changed the crankshaft position sensor, which was relatively cheap, I guess. This car doesnt stand well in wrecks. I hit a light pole going about 5mph & the back bumper just fell off. I feel that Im paying far too much for far too little. Not worth it, cant wait to get a new car.

VTEC KILLER - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By JohnSpecV - September 2 - 5:56 pmThis car is incredible, the low end torque is the best. Ive modded my spec and the car doesnt seem to mind. Runs very good drives very hard, the Back seat isnt that big so if you looking for a 4 seater this isnt the car. This is fast car.

Not Bad for the price - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By Jay Solomon - August 2 - 1:23 pmThe SE-R has plenty of pep and power on the highway (2.5) Everyone says that the car has a great look and it drives like a sports car. The seating is low to the ground which requires some adjustment since I also drive a 4- Runner. The sports package gives the car a bumpy ride on roads that are less that perfect. The stearing is highly responsive and overall, for the money it seems to be a great little car. I have about 700 miles on the car. The quality of the sound system is surprising. For my taste I wish I would have moved up to a Honda Accord or BMW 300 series just to have more car under me. The price, however, was just too tempting.

Definately a Good Buy - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By Adam - July 27 - 10:16 pmi Just got a new 1.8s Special edition sentra and it is amazing. The sound system is much more than anyone expected. It picks up pretty well (i suggest the 5-speed manual). It saves a ton of gas when driven normally. Best of all, it was the best possible deal since the civic and the corolla were more expensive, yet had less power, worse design, and less than half of the options.

Great little car - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By Amber - June 16 - 9:33 pmI just got this car but its way better then what I traded in for it. It is very comfortable. I love the hood of the car. The only complaint I have is that the tail end of the car doesnt really have any shape. So Im gonna put a spoiler on it. The gas mileage is good and over all Im very happy with my selection.

FUEL EFFICIENCY EXCELLENT - GREEN CAR!!! - 2005 Nissan Sentra
By Metalblade - June 14 - 10:00 amMain reason I bought it is for fuel efficiency, you can almost inhale exhaust without feeling disgusted! My model is rated SULEV and partially PZEV!! (close to Zero-emmisions) This baby makes 40 miles/gallon when all heavy stuff is removed ( I removed spare tire, one seat, jack, useless metal objects, one sun visor, etc. as its covered by 24-mos roadside assistance (in case of tire problem) and I stay in the city where repair is avai;able on any corner. Now if you keep spare tier loaded, etc. still makes 36 mpg if you drive intelligently (i.e. dont accelrate in front of red light, dont idle, dont do stupid things many people doing) - use brains and you get near-hybrid fuel efficiency
