  Lovin it for 3 months now - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I remember seeing the 2006 for the first time in a post office parking lot and thinking about buying the car. Three months later I am exceptionally pleased at having done just that. My next car will likely be another Hyundai based on this last purchase. Easily the nicest car I have ever owned.

  I did the usual and spent a lot of time looking at the Accord and Camry. I wasnt convinced about Nissans reliability and I didnt like the Altima/Maxima styling. I was surprised when i test drove the Sonata. Its quite competent and very stable. While not a sports car, it handles itself well. The steering can be bit numb if you get the 16 inch tires.

  This is a great vehicle for the money. It is very solid and safe. It has a ton of features. The warranty cant be beat. Do yourself a favor and test drive a Sonata before you decide on a car.

  I realize we stepped up to a V-6 and more horsepower, but I was hoping for more than 22 mpg avg. versus the 27 avg. we got with our Accord. The car is also more noisy than I expected out on the highway.

  The new Sonata represents a quantum leap forward for Hyundai. Contemporary, competitive design, good looks, safety features galore, considerate little touches, plenty of room (more than Accord or Camry), good fuel economy and great pricing. I like it! Looking forward to Hyundais next round of product releases.

  I like the PRICE, WARRANTY, PAINT JOB, PERFORMANCE, safety features, interior, exterior, QUIETNESS, design, interior features, options, 17in rims and the STYLING. I have never been this excited about getting a new car. Its a good family car, as well as, a single mans car. Classy yet Sporty. Very Practical.

  I love it, it has more power than my 2005 Hyundai Sonata and I put approximately 60K a year on the vehicle. With the five speed auto trans, it gets up an she goes.

  Is Camry & Accord worth an extra $4-8K?? - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I took the "Hyundai Challenge" and became a believer. I first drove an Accord and a Camry and after driving the Sonata there was no way to justify spending an extra $4 to 8K for a car in this class. The Sonata is a great car, smooth ride, solid feel, and looks great. I went with the LX with the moonroof and 6 CD player package. Comes with leather, heated seats, V6, shiftable automatic, and loads of safety features. Taking advantage of the rebate I got the car for $21K. Did all the negotiating for the car thru email and was extremely pleased with the experience and the dealership. I am hoping Hyundai will now live up to Honda and Toyotas quality and durability - time will tell!

  Love the design, features, and drive of this years Sonata!! We traded a 99 Acura 3.2 TL loaded and got a better vehicle at a $10K savings! Cant get over the handling and looks of our new Hyundai. Looking ahead to many wonderfully comfortable trips.

  This was a best buy for comfort,gadgets,style,price and especially the 24MPG/city and 29.7MPG/highway fuel consumption I consistently get on regular grade gas. A little more play in the steering than I like but still handles very well. The shiftronic shifting makes driving safe on slick roads and fun on dry roads. Its performance is everything Hyundai promises.I like fast!! I am not crazy about the sound system but the rest of the car makes up for it. I would buy it again. Way to go Hyundai!
