  Sunroof Noise - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I just traded my 2002 Sonata for the 2006 Aquamarine V6 GLS with the 17" wheels, sunroof, etc. Its a beauty. The only issue I have is the noise from the wind when the sunroof is open. Its a lot louder on this car than my 2002.

  This car was among the most fun to drive of the mid-sized sedans. When the safety features, warranty and value are considered this was the product for us.

  everytime i turn to the right or the left side my car makes a squeaky noise. Sometimes it can be really loud. The dealer cant find out whats wrong with it.

  This is the first brand new vehicle that I have owned and fell in love with it on the test drive! I test drove at leat 4 or 5 different cars that day and none of them seemed to fit except for the Sonata. It has a slick design and a great interior. Its roomy (Im 60 and mostly legs!) Its reliable and I feel safe driving down the road. One of the reasons why I purchased it was because of its safety features. The others being the mileage and warranty!

  Having been saddled with a 4 cylinder for 7 years, I decided to upgrade to a V6. However, with the gas prices being what they were, I wanted a V6 with decent mileage. Having compared the Hyundai Sonata with the Honda Accord, I went with the Sonata GLS w/option 5 because I dont need leather seats, a seat warmer or a 6- disc CD changer. I used the reviews posted at Edmunds.com and a few other online reviewers. So far the acceleration is excellent, the silence of the interior is deafening, and the roominess had been complimented by my family & friends.

  We have had our Sonata for about 9 months. We live in the middle of nowhere, and the drive back from the dealership was about 200 miles, some freeway, some mountain highway. It performed flawlessly, showing off its great acceleration and handling. It is comfortable and fun to drive. My daughter, who is 24, doesnt understand why I would buy such a car because, as she says, Im "more of a car guy than that." Buy, you know what, if the purpose of a car is to get you from point A to point B quickly and comfortably, this Sonata with the V-6 is all I could want.

  When driving through Alabama in Sept .05 and staying at a motel a stranger saw my 03 Sonata and asked me if i liked the car.My reply was a yes, he said if you like this one wait until you see the new 06 Sonata, well wait i did, on june 28th i bought a gls V- 6 .Let me say that the 10 month was worth it.The new Sonata is everything I expected and more, a world class head turner with great power looks and handeling and a price ever i can afford.

  A Lot of Car for the Money - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I find it hard to imagine getting any more car for the money. We purchased a 2006 Sonata in July with all the "bells and whistles" for $20K out the door (plus tax and title). The car is a spirited performer with tight handling characteristics at all speeds. Fuel economy is what I would expect from a 235 HP V6--around 20 mpg in town and 29 -30 mpg on the road. Fit and finish are excellent. Leather interior is a must. The car lacks a Moon Roof which is fine with me. Interior noise level rivals anything on the market. Weve taken several long trips and put around 5,000 miles on the rig with no complaints.

  The 2006 Sonata is a totally different car than the 2005! New body style, large interior, to include back seat seating for three! The 4-cyl has plenty of HP for the normal daily commuter and my gas mileage is running 22-24 mpg city stop and go use thus far.
