  • Bye-bye Toyota - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

Ive only had the car for less than 2 weeks and love driving in it. I had a Toyota Camry before and this has everything the Camry had and then some. You get more for your money with this car. The standard features are what make this car so great.

  • NICE CHANGE - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I used to be a van owner. I was ready for a smaller car. I test drove many cars, and found for what was standard on the sonata, the ride, and price the sonata cant be beat. I remember when Hyundai first came out and they used to be compared to the Yugo. Hyundai corp. has made great strides and changes to the point when I look for cars I will be looking for more Hyundais. And lets not forget about the warranties what a selling point. I intend to keep my Sonata for a while.

  • Excellent Value - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

Traded in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer for a V6 GLS. After 15 years of SUVs and pickup trucks, the Sonata handles like a Porsche (okay, not really). Still, the handling is crisp and the V6 winds up nicely. I drive in the Mountains a lot, and this car moves right along on steep twisting roads. Mileage (25mpg for first 1k miles) good for a V6. Bottom line - this is a VALUE purchase. There are better cars available, but not even close to this price. At some point, the Honda/Toyota brand just isnt worth it.

  • Great family car for the price - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

Purchased my Sonata GLS V 6 in May 2006. I have driven it to Sarasota Fla twice so far [985 miles one way }. I averaged 30 mpg on the hwy fully loaded with 3 adults & 2 younger children. city milage is about 21 mpg . V6 has more power than needed , but great on the hwy. First time Sonata owner , I have on complaint , disc breakes squeak alot when damp .

My Sonata is sporty, and fun to drive. Its a roomy as a Camry or Accord. My family has always owned Camrys, and I had owned 2 new Accords. I have no regrets about my Sonata. It was was my best purchase yet. I have the quality of an Accord or Camry, and got it at a lower price and with a better warrenty. You cant go wrong!

  • 06 Sonata, just a great overall vehicle - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

After comparing similar sedans (Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, VW & Ford) I was very surprized I would even consider a Hyundai. After reading the steller reviews on Edmunds and other sites & publications, I had to try one out for myself. I could not believe what a refined vehicle this was. Ive driven plenty of quality vehicles from BMW, Audi and the above makes, and this Sonata is as solid as most anything Ive driven. The doors were very heavy and the ride extremely quiet (similar to my fathers Audi A6). With the best warranty, largest interior and great looks, it was a very easy decision making the Sonata GLS-V6 our next car. Id look into one while theyre still a bargain~better hurry!!!

  • The Best Deal - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I am very happy with my new car. Ive been driving a 1996 Cavalier over the past 9 years until I decided lately to get a new one. Over the past 3 weeks, Ive been researching and thinking of getting either a Camry or an Accord. But last night, my decision finally zeroed on to the Sonata after reading the reviews and the consumer ratings online. I am very impressed with the design of the car. The engine is very quiet and the ride is very smooth. I bought mine today, Dec 31, 2005 at $3900 less than the MSRP. The good ratings combined with the best price helped me decide for this car.

Only have 800 miles on "her" but they have all been fun miles. Very impressed with the performance and handling. This is the first non-GM car Ive owned..."why did I wait so long"
