By anish - July 9 - 11:10 amgreat car, very quiet, has a nice and clean feel on the inside, smooth ride,very spacious front and rear seats, gr8 lookin headlights, lots of trunk space. it is an excellent car for families with need of space and who are on budget.

By johnnyo - June 27 - 10:00 amI am shocked at the quality of this car. I have gone from bumper to bumper inside and out and have found not one flaw in workmanship, paint, or fabric. This is my first car in my 53 years to have this kind of quality. The V6 is unbelieveable...tons of power! Gas mileage is great..higher than the sicker on the window said it would be. I always bought an American designed and built car. The Hyundai is made in the USA, but I can tell the quality design came from elsewhere...too bad Detroit, Hyundai is gonna sell a ton of these! John

By Matt - June 20 - 1:50 amIf you drive a Camry or Accord, Im sorry. You shouldve tried the Sonata. If you had, you would be driving it. So much fun to drive, and its still fun even when speeds are of the legal variety. Love the MP3 player on the stereo, cruise on/off on the wheel. Make sure to check proper inflation of the tires, particularly if you have the sport package with 17" rims as I do. They dont always arrive properly inflated and that factor can affect the ride. Great car, for any money. For Hyundai money, its a dream!

My 2006 Sonata LX - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By W. Partsch - June 13 - 2:13 amWe have had the Sonata LX since Sept. 05 and have enjoyed every minute in it. It is comfortable and very quiet. Sometimes we cannot tell if the engine is running or not (have to look at the tach to make sure). The Interior is very pleasing and laid out nicely and with all controls close at hand. The accessories for garage door opener, auto rear view mirror and others are very nice touches that many American cars do not have (but could have at a slight increase in cost). At time of our purchase the Pearl White color was not available due to manufacturing problems at the Alabama assembly plant. We got the silver color, which seems to have a touch of white in it, quite pleasing. Great car

Glad I bought it - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By larry - June 5 - 12:10 amI bought this car as a replacement for our gas guzzling minivan. The biggest draw was the standard safety features. My wife and I looked at the competitors, none of them offered comparable equipment for anywhere near the same price point. The engine is strong and works well with the 5 speed auto transmission and while the handling may not be a best in class sports sedan it certainly is acceptable for my everyday driving needs. I have owned an accord and still own a camry, both are good cars but this is the first hyundai I ever considered buying and so far I think its worth it. I would recommend this car to others.

Oh Yeah - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By KennyMac - June 1 - 6:46 pmIncredible car. We just love it. Handles like a dream, and room for plenty of sets of golf clubs in the roomy trunk. And lets face it people, the car looks sexy. I think the Accord and Camry folks better keep an eye on their rear view mirror cause the Sonata has the pedal to the metal and is passing fast.

A great Car - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By Steve - May 30 - 9:20 pmAfter driving this automobile over 6000 miles I still havent found any serious problems to complain about. The rear suspension could use some tweaking as the car doesnt handle wash board roads or pot holes well. I drove the car on a 2700 mile trip on interstates, US highways and in city driving. My overall mileage was 31.7 mpg. I have driven the car at over 100 mph and found it very stable. I find the seating comfortable for long trips. I find the acceleration excellent, when needed. I generally drive very conservative, from a stop light I keep the tach below 2500 at each shift and on the road run on cruise control at the speed limit and let the world roll by.

Great car great price - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By jeff329 - May 25 - 1:33 amI purcased my new Sonata to replace my 06 Elantra that I totaled in an accident. I decided for more room and comfort and would never consider anything but a Hyundai. The ride is comfortable and there is so much room. The dealership is great I can not say enough about the whole Hyundai experience quality and price all rolled into one.

horrible road noise - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By Sel - May 11 - 2:13 amMy 2006 Sonata V6 has a "moan" like blowing in a bottle at speeds in excess of 60 mph. It makes driving the car a miserable experience. The dealer doesnt seem to want to find the source and tell me that is normal noise. I have taken it back three times. I seriously regret buying this car and I should have spent more and got a quality car. The Sonata is great looking but what you see is NOT what you get.
