  Great car! - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I was not in the market for buying a new car, but just happened to stop by a Hyundai dealership while my old car was being worked on. I fell in love with the looks, the overall fit & finish, the list of std. features, & the performance of the car. Ive had this car for a month now and its fantastic. Still going thru break-in period, so gas mileage is not great. (But as others have commented, need a few more thousand miles). The engine is powerful, 5 speed auto is butter smooth, the car is very quiet on the road. If you dont want to be a "me too" with Camry & Accord, give this car a serious look. GM & Ford, youd better get your act together quickly or else!!

  This is a handsome quality vehicle, well-appointed inside, possessing every safety feature I was looking for, at a remarkably low price and with an exceptionally robust warranty. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power and is quiet while cruising at 75 mph. Mileage is somewhat disappointing in the city and is not particulary great on the highway, considering its a four. In a nutshell, hats off to Hyundai for bringing this great car to the American market.

  Ohmigosh - Hyundai have shocked the heck out of me. This is a fabulous car, no doubt about it. If you can get over badge snobbery, and are in the market for a new family sedan with some punch check this car out. It is as good as Honda or Toyota, and is far more feature rich than either of the Accord or Camry. Hyundai is close to setting the standard here.

  Problem starting motor, 2 to 5 tries needed. Missing stard equipment, lock on glove box repaired - looks used. they repaired the motor while still in for dealer options. Repairs not reported, seems there more damage since they do not list repairs done on invoice if i get one. They didnt have the sticker on the side window stating model, year, equipment, where it was made, seems to be a used car. they refuse to even help, not very fair to the buyer. seems they are back to where they start, past was junk; whats this? honesty seems to be gone

  Excellent - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I have recently had a 2002 Saturn Vue and a 1999 Accord LX V6. I needed something with better mileage. I considered numerous other cars, but found that this 06 Sonata, even with a 4 cyl was better laid out than even the mid-upper levels of a Camry and an Accord. This is much better than the Accord. I have received many compliments on the look, the interior, and the smooth ride. I got this for less than 20k...this would have gone for closer to 30k with comparable models. The 4 cyl has great power, the trunk is huge, the interior has a very Euro-style to it, the shiftronic is great, the stereo is loud and even has tweeters. The warranty is phenomenal. Very happy with this purchase.

  My kids both owned the early Hyundai models that we deemed THROW AWAY cars. I was leaning toward a Honda and test drove some, but I kept reading the reviews on the Sonata and test drove one. I bought it immediately. Much more for the money than my second choice -- Honda. This is quite an impressive machine. Then, there is the price and the warranty. All together an unbeatable fine automobile for the money!

  This car is the most fun to drive and practical car I have ever owned. We have put 3500 miles on it and gone on vacation and it is wonderful to drive.

  Great ride, great looks . Got a lot of compliments from others.2nd Hyundai for me.Had 2002 XG350L before this and the Sonata was supposed to be a step down in class,but it certainly is not.This is sharper,roomier and just as luxurious. Only down side the tires,would reather have a better all round seasonal tire than the performance tires they use.

  It`s my first Hyundai and after 16500 on the odometer I am pleased overall! It`s stylish, great interior space and trunk,Quiet and smoth,Silky Engine and dual-mode Transmission,34 miles per imperial gallon,good on twisty roads even with 5 passengers! Great value! Like to test drive the Azera.
