  I did not expect such excellent quality from Hyundai. Well this one with 5M runs like a Lexus IS300. Well actually better than the Lexus. The top two Japanese brands such as Honda and Toyota won their high reputation over the past couple decades. I think Hyundai will achieve the same high reputation within the next two years. This 06 Sonata OUTPERFORMS Toyota Camry and Honda Accord not only by the price advantage but also by its built quality and superior performance!

  It is a beautiful car. I liked the very responsive mannual shift yet smooth. One of the best vehicle out there for your money.

  I have owned in the past two Hyundai vehicles.The last was a 2004 350XG which was purchased new and was traded with 82000 original miles of which I put on this vehicle due to my being retired and traveling cross country a lot.I traded the XG for a 2006 Sonata LX 3.3 in Jan 2006 and 15000 miles later the engine light after three shop visits has come on again for the forth time and again Ill be on my way to the shop.Ive made all of my maint.visits and have been very satisfied with the service dept.where I purchased the vehicle.Hopefully I can get this problem cleared up.For the record ..Im a Hyundai fan.   The warranty speaks for itself. More room than Accord, killer V6, great gas mileage and good looks. The Sonata is one the the best affordable sedans I have driven. Take a look at this car!

  We bought this car for the family. I was an Accord owner before and I was looking for something comparable. The wife and I do love to drive this car. We have a couple of teenagers who will soon start driving so I know they will enjoy it as much as we do.

  Reliable, Stylish and Affordable - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  I have really enjoyed everything about my Sonata. I searched for cars for 3 years before I found one that I could fit 3 car seats across the back seat, but didnt look like a mom mobile. It has not needed to be in the shop at all other than regular maintenance. The engine is strong and it stops quickly. The wood grain interior really makes for an adult classy business look. It handles really well also. Bottom line it is a great car for the price. I prefer it to the Ford 500 and the Honda Accord.

  This website, as well as others, had a lot to do with me eschewing the domestics or more established foreign nameplates in favor of a Hyundai. Im glad I trusted the reviews of professionals and owners alike, because this car has the potential to be my favorite of all time. Im 51 and am rather fussy about my possessions. For $19K with every imaginable option, this LX delivers. Ive had it for a month and love to get behind the wheel. The ride is VERY controlled and predictable, if somewhat firm, and the cabin is remarkably quiet and refined. For a guy whos hard to please, Im satisfied!

  Traded in a Mercury Gran Marquis to gain more gas mileage and less of the large car negotiation in tight traffic. Found the GLS Sonata to be just as roomy on the inside if not more so in the rear. Performance is wonderful. Net result, happiness with a good looking sedan at a decent price.

  Watch out Audi - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  Up-to-date styling, strong performance, build quality on par with Honda, great ride and handling. The car is amazingly quiet, too. Add in all the creature features like side curtain airbags, stability and traction control, auto climate control, heated seats and so on, and its an unbeatable value. Loaded to the gills, its still under 25K. Equip a Camry, Accord or Audi A4 the same way and youre in for sticker shock. Throw in the 100,000 mile warranty and its a great deal!

  I puchased my Sonata after hating my Saturn Vue. I made sure I drove every car on the market-Altimas, Galants, Malibus, Impalas etc. I always came back to the Sonata for the interior space and the look of the car. I like how it took turns and it was very comfy.
